"DISPOSITIF POUR GONFLER DES BALLES
<EMI ID=1.1>

"DEVICE FOR INFLATION OF BALLS
<EMI ID = 1.1>
The present invention relates to an improved device for inflating balls, and the like, which are inflated by means of a needle passing through their outer wall.
Tennis balls, for example, are very prone to lose their internal pressure and, therefore, to no longer be suitable to allow precise play, when they are
kept for some time, mainly in hot countries and, in order to be able to re-inflate them to normal pressure, these balls are often established with an internal soft rubber pad, so that a needle can be inserted into the ball at the point where the tampon is in order to re-inflate ,.
It is, however, difficult to ascertain when the correct pressure has been reached, unless complicated instruments with manometers or the like are used.
A device established according to the invention is provided with an inlet constituted by a hollow needle remaining continuously open and not containing a valve, a connection for fixing it to a pump, an ordinary bicycle pump, connection provided with a a reed valve such as a ball valve, and a safety valve opening when the required pressure has been reached.
A suitable model of a safety valve is a small cylinder screwed into the side of the valve.

a spring pressing against a via mounted in the cylinder.
