La présente invention a pour objet un coupe-papier qui peut être utilisé comme dispositif pour tenir des livres et comprend une pièce étroite en forme d'U ou en forme de fourche, dont une branche constitue le coupe-papier, tandis que l'autre branche consiste en une tige parallèle à la piè- ce formant coupe-papier et s'étendant dans le plan de celui- ci à une courte distance du dos du coupe-papier, ladite tige étant solidaire de la poignée du coupe-papier ou étant fixée à cette dernière.
Pour utiliser ce coupe-papier comme dispositif pour tenir un livre, on introduit la lame formant coupe-

papier entre les feuilles du livre, approximativement au milieu de celui-ci, tandis que la tige formant l'autre bran- che s'étend le long du dos du livre, la poignée faisant saillie à une certaine distance au-dessous de ce dernier.
