Auto turn and stop sign for automobiles
The present invention relates to an automatic signaling device for bends and stops for automobiles.
There are already a large number of devices of this kind but all have the drawback that the driver of the automobile must operate them. In contrast to this, the signaling device, object of the invention, is completely automatic so that it allows the driver not to distract any part of his attention from the steering of his car and to keep his two hands free.

The operation of the gasoline generator is very simple and has the advantage, indicated above, of being fully automatic and, moreover, of including viewing windows in the lanterns which allow the driver's seat to check whether they are on *
When turning the rudder to take a turn,
its axis 2 imparts a rotational movement in the opposite direction to the wheel 5 by virtue of the friction of its flange 4-4 ′ against said axis which, for this purpose, has a certain roughness in the part concerned.
On the axis 6 of the wheel 5 is mounted the pinion 7 which meshes with the. toothed sector 8 which, by turning

de oontaot 14 which, by sliding against the insulating sector 15, establishes contact with the two terminals which it meets at the beginning and at the end of its travel.
The connection of this contact piece 14 and the terminals 30, 31 is made by the connection 13 and the terminal 12. The insulating piece 9 serves to prevent any passage of current in the mechanical parts of the device, while the screw 11 performs the subjection of this insulating part and the toothed sector.
To signal a rapid turn following a sudden brake stroke, 0 'is the device shown in Figure 4 which is used. This device consists of two oontaot springs 17, 17 'fixed by the connection terminals 19, 19' to the insulating part 20 itself fixed to the frame 22 by the fixing screws 21, 21 '.
The fixing screw 18 can prevail along the length of the slide 23 to ensure the fixing of the entire device at the appropriate distance from the brake pedal.
This brake pedal 27 is fitted with the contact blade 24 suitably isolated by the part 26 and provided with a connection terminal 25 which, when the said pedal is pressed, enters between the two contact parts 27, 27 'and thus closes the lantern lighting circuit.
Figure 8 is the circuit diagram of the lanterns in series.
It must be understood that the lanterns can be placed at the front and at the rear of the car and that the various components of this signaling device as well as their arrangement could be modified without departing from the principle of invention which remains the automatic functioning of the signalizer.
