Dispositif de fixation de chaînes antipatinantes sur les roues de véhicules .
! La présente invention a pour objet un dispositif de fixation de chaines antipatinantes sur les roues de @ véhicules permettant le montage aisé des dites chaînes et le réglage rapide de celles-ci en vue d'éviter leur ballottement pendant le roulement du véhicule .
A cet effet , la ou les dites chaînes sont fixées d'une manière amovible à deux mâchoires articulées entre elles et serrées contre les bourrelets de la jante de la roue du véhicule .
Afin d'éviter le glissement accidentel des dites mâchoires le long de la roue , celles-ci sont pourvues d'entailles dans lesquelles pénètre le bourrelet de la jante de la roue .
Les mâchoires sont articulées entre elles autour d'un axe parallèle au plan de la roue et peuvent être rapprochées en vue de réaliser leur fixation à la jante de celle-ci par l'action d'un écrou vissé sur un boulon traversant les 'ailes des 'dites mâchoires .

Afin de permettre le réglage rapide des chaînes et d'éviter ainsi leur ballottement pendant le roule- ment du véhicule les dites chaînes qui passent trans- versalement au dessus de la roue sont fixées d'une part à un ou des crochets fixés à l'une des mâchoires et d'autre part à un ou plusieurs crochets ou anneaux réglables par un dispositif approprié le long de l'autre machoire ; les crochets réglables peuvent être immo bilisés par le serrage de l'écrou susmentionné assurant le rapprochement des mâchoires .
Les avantages et caractéristiques de l'invention ressortiront de la description du dessin annexé à titre d'exemple .
Ce dessin représente une vue en perspective avec brisure d'un dispositif suivant l'invention monté sur la jante d'une roue .
La chaine antipatinante 1 est fixée à deux mâchoires 2 et 2' qui-sont articulées entre elles au- tour d'un axeamovibe 3 et qui peuvent être rapprochées par le serrage d'un écrou 4 vissé sur un boulon 5 tra versant les ailes des dites mâchoires .
Afin d'éviter le glissement accidentel des mâchoires le long de la jante 6 de l roue , celles-ci sent pour- vues à leur extrémité d'entailles 7 dans lesquelles pénètre le bourrelet de la jante 6.
Suivant la forme de réalisation représentée les deux anneaux d'etréité de la chaine 1 sont enfilés dans deux crochets 8 (un seul crochet est visible au dessin) fixés à la mâchoire 2 tandis que la chaîne traverse d'autre part en y prenant appui un anneau ou

La tension de la chaine 1 contre la jante de la roue, c'està-dire contre le-pneu 10 suivant la. forme de réalisa- tion représentée , sera par conséquent réalisée en dépla- çant vers le bas le crochet 9 par le vissage de l'écrou 11 sur,l'extrémité filetée de celui-ci , cette extrémité i filetée traversant une patte 12 solidaire de la mâchoire 2'.
1 .'Des que le dit réglage a été effectué l'ensemble peut être définitivement immobilisé par le serrage de l'écrou 4. qui prend appui contre une partie du crochet 9.
Afin de permettre l'adaptation du dispositif à des jantes présentant des dimensions transversales différentes les mâchoires 2 et 2' comportent.plusieurs trous 13 à tra- vers lesquels l'on pourra introduire l'axe d'articulation 3 des dites mâchoires .
Il va de soi que l'invention n'est pas limitée strictement à la forme de réalisation représentée au dessin
