La présente invention est un coton tige « zéro déchet ». En effet, il remplit toutes les fonctionnalités du coton tige jetable sans produire de déchet. Pour ce faire, la boule de coton fixée sur le bâtonnet est remplacée par un « doigtier » lavable (figurel). La matière et les dimensions du « doigtier » sont semblables à celles de la boule de coton du coton tige jetable pour assurer toutes les fonctionnalités connues de celui-ci et en particulier, l’absorption de liquide. La matière est lavable pour permettre la réutilisation du « doigtier » . Le support étant lui aussi réutilisable, le coton tige ainsi constitué est zéro déchet. La terminaison fermée du doigtier a une surface extérieure lisse et arrondie. Le doigtier peut, par exemple, être tricoté en coton sans couture. Les terminaisons du support (figure 2) ont la même forme arrondie que le doigtier. Le diamètre extérieur du support est égal au diamètre intérieur du doigtier pour permettre une introduction aisée du support dans le doigtier. Pour cela, il faut également que sa surface extérieure soit lisse. Le support peit être en matière plastique vu qu’il est réutilisable mais peut aussi être en papier durci. Plusieurs modes de réalisation du coton tige « zéro déchet » sont possibles.
