Abstract

De huidige uitvinding betreft een werkwijze voor het verhuren van een machinepark, omvattende de stappen: (a) het bevestigen van een overeenkomst tussen een huurder en een verhuurder, waarbij de overeenkomst een te verhuren machinetype, een looptijd en een operationele locatie omvat; (b) het selecteren en/of inplannen van een machine uit een machinepark op basis van het machinetype, de looptijd en/of de operationele locatie uit stap a; (c) het leveren en het in gebruik stellen van de geselecteerde machine uit stap b, op de operationele locatie en gedurende de looptijd uit stap a; en (d) het afmelden van de machine, waarbij de overeenkomst tussen de huurder en de verhuurder wordt beëindigd; waarbij de stappen a-d intelligent worden uitgevoerd middels een gecentraliseerd computersysteem, en waarbij de machine een eerste en een tweede tracking unit omvat, welke locatiedata en/of statusdata van de machine collecteert en terugkoppelt naar het gecentraliseerd computersysteem.
