DESCRIPTION DE L'INVENTION
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>

<Desc/Clms Page number 5>
<Desc/Clms Page number 6>

IMPROVED CLOSURE PURPOSE OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an improved closure composed of a door mounted on a frame that surrounds the opening of the wall on which the closure is installed.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
At the moment, external door closures pose a maintenance problem because the surface of these doors must not only withstand the weather, but also any kind of external aggression.
This problem requires periodically repainting the outer surface of the door, with the expense that entails.
On the other hand, the interior surface of the doors currently poses an aesthetic problem because, being generally smooth, they do not offer a finish in accordance with the interior decoration.
These external closures are frequently subject to acts of vandalism, the purpose of which is to damage the door or the frame, by forcing the ends of the metal sheets mentioned.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The improved closure object of the invention provides constructive features to reduce the maintenance work to be performed on the outer surface of the door, provide a closure with an internal decoration in keeping with the room where it is, facilitate installation and ensure a more robust and secure closure, not to mention the thermal and acoustic insulation.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
The closure of this invention is composed of a door mounted on a frame placed around the opening of the wall on which the closure is made.
According to the invention, the door comprises a metal plate which forms the outer surface, a plywood plate which forms the inner surface with a decorative finish, an inner filling of insulating material serving to break the thermal bridge between the outside and inside.
The metal plate may be of stainless steel, galvanized, aluminum or any other metal having similar characteristics.
The frame of the closure is wood coated with a metal coating on the part corresponding to the outside, which allows to provide the frame of the same characteristics described above for the door.
The lower batten of the door has a groove for the establishment of an insulating bead.
The lateral batten of the perimeter of the door, opposite the beat axis, has a central groove to allow the passage of the fittings of the lock.
The metal sheet forming the outer surface of the door extends, in its periphery, above the slices of the body of the door, which it covers completely or partially.
If this outer sheet partially covers the slices of the body of the door, three of its sides will adopt the shape of a "C" to achieve with the extreme wing the embedding in the corresponding slot defined for this purpose on the side battens and bottom of the door, while the fourth side will present an angled fold to ensure the attachment of the metal sheet to the upper batten of the door.
If the sheet on the outside of the door completely covers the trench of the door body, this outer sheet will have side wings ending in a
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
extreme portion parallel to the outer surface of the door and being housed in a shrinkage defined for this purpose in the inner surface of the perimeter covering.
The lateral wings of the metal sheet corresponding to the sides of the door body provided with longitudinal grooves for the passage of the fittings of the lock have, on the intermediate zone, folds which define on this sheet a configuration in the shape of "C", which is intended to fitably fit within the corresponding longitudinal rabbet.
It has also been provided that the metal sheet which covers the outside of the fixed frame has on the end corresponding to the surface facing the edge of the door, an L-shaped configuration which partly covers the groove of the frame ending on an extreme wing. This extreme wing is in turn locked in an area of the frame close to the inner surface of the closure.
The extreme configurations defined by the metal sheets to completely cover the opposite surfaces of the frame and the edge of the door are intended to provide greater resistance to the entire closure and prevent access to the end of these metal sheets using a lever or similar tool when the door is in the closed position.
DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES
To complete the description in progress and in order to facilitate understanding of the features of the invention, the present specification is accompanied by a series of drawings in which the following has been represented, as a non-limiting illustration: Figure 1 shows a survey view of the closure on the inner side, on which the frame and the door are seen in the closed position, with the outer metal plate covering a portion of the slices of the body of the door.

PREFERENTIAL REALIZATION OF THE INVENTION
As can be seen in the figures mentioned, the closure is composed of a door (1) mounted on a frame (2) on which the closure is made. The frame (2) is in turn fixed to the wall (3).
The door (1) comprises a metal plate (4) and a plywood (5) mounted on each side of a rectangle formed by wooden battens (61, 62, 63 and 64) which define the perimeter of the door (1). The interior of the rectangle formed by the wooden battens (61, 62, 63 and 64) is filled with an insulating material (7) for breaking the thermal bridge between the outer and inner surfaces of the door.
The metal sheet (4) forms the outer surface of the door (1). Thanks to this surface finish, which can be stainless steel, galvanized, aluminum, etc., the exterior maintenance of the door becomes almost superfluous.
In the exemplary embodiments shown in FIGS. 2, 3 and 4, three sides of the metal sheet (4) have a "C" configuration (41), the attachment of the metal sheet (4) to the battens (61, 62). , 63 and 64) of the perimeter of the door (1) being made by embedding the end wing of the "C" configuration (41), in the respective grooves (8) defined for this purpose on the battens (61, 63 and 64). The fourth side of the
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
metal sheet (4) has a right-angle fold (42) which partly covers the upper end of the door (1), as shown in Figure 2.
The plywood (5) which forms the surface of the door (1) corresponding to the inner side of the closure allows to offer a decorative finish in accordance with the existing decoration on site.
On the lower batten (64) of the door is provided a groove (641) for the optional placement of an insulating bead, while on the lateral batten (63), opposite to the beat axis of the door, it was planned a central groove (631) to allow the passage of lock hardware.
The frame (2) has a wooden molding clad with metal sheet (9) on the face corresponding to the outside.
Figure 4 shows an alternative embodiment of the closure, wherein the plywood (5) which forms the inner surface of the door (1) has a cover (51) on the frame (2). In this way, the wood of the covering (51) covers the groove (10) between the door (1) and the frame (2), which makes it possible not only to improve the aesthetics, but also to cover a groove (10). ) that can cause insulation problems.
In the embodiment shown in Figure 5, the metal plate (4) constituting the outer surface of the door (1) extends peripherally on the edges thereof to form side wings (43) which fully cover these slices. . In addition, these side wings (43) end with an end portion (44) parallel to the outer surface of the door (1) and being housed in a rabbet (52) defined for this purpose in the inner surface of the cover the perimeter (51) of the plywood (5) which forms the inner surface of the door (1).
The lateral wing (43) corresponding to the edge of the door (1) provided with the longitudinal rabbet (631) has on the intermediate zone a recessed configuration in the shape of "C", defined by folds (45) and coming from fit within this longitudinal rabbet (631).
<Desc / Clms Page number 6>
On the other hand, the metal plate (91) which covers the outside of the fixed frame (2) has, on the end facing the edge of the door (1), an L-shaped configuration (92). ) which partly covers the rabbet of the frame (2) and ends with an end wing (93) which locks into an area of the frame (2) close to the inner surface of the closure.
Once described the nature of the invention, as well as a preferred embodiment, it should be emphasized to the appropriate effects that the materials, shape, size and layout of the elements described may be modified as far as this does not imply an alteration of the essential features of the invention claimed below.
