Abstract

The invention concerns devices for collecting coins and putting themdirectly into the hand or purse. For this purpose, the device is essentiallycomposed of a dish (5) that pivots to collect the coins, capable of pivotingwith respect to the horizontal plane when a pivoting effort is applied and ameans preferably in the form of a counterweight (6) to bring the dish (5)back to its horizontal position as soon as the pivoting effort stops.

DESCRIPTION CURRENCY COLLECTOR

The invention relates to an apparatus for picking up money and collecting it directly in the palm of the hand or in the wallet.

For this purpose, the apparatus essentially comprises a pivoting bowl for collecting money, capable of pivoting relative to a horizontal plane under the effect of a pivoting stress and a means for bringing the bowl back into its horizontal plane as soon as it ceases the aforementioned request.

In one embodiment, the pivoting bowl has a counterweight below its pivot axis which returns it to its original position as soon as the pivoting stress is interrupted. The mounting of the bowl may comprise either a single pivot axis or two parallel axes provided on two opposite edges of the bowl to allow it to pivot alternately on one and on the other axis depending on the direction of pivoting.

Alternatively, the bowl can be suspended from a horizontal axis by means of a suspension lever in the manner of a swing in order to be able to return to its starting position as soon as the pivoting stress is interrupted.

The invention is now illustrated by the accompanying drawings which illustrate by way of nonlimiting example.

In FIG. 1, there is a leg 1, an upright part 2, a pivot axis 3 and a pivoting part 4 comprising a bowl 5 and a counterweight 6.

This Drawing Figure being a section taken in the middle of the pivot axis passing through the median of the bowl, the counterweight and the foot, it is understood that the upright 2 has a second part similar to that shown but located from the other side of the pivoting part 4.

Figure 2 shows a similar device which differs from the previous one in that it has two pivot axes 3 and 3 'instead of only one.

It is imperative that the axis 3 or the axes 3 and 3 ′ are located at the upper part of the bowl in order to obtain the lowest possible center of gravity, which ensures that the bowl is returned to its horizontal plane.

On certain types of lighter devices such as P.V.C. for example, it may be necessary to use an auxiliary return device consisting of a spring, an elastic band, or the placement of a heavier counterweight.

FIG. 3 represents a third embodiment which could be described as a swing and in which the bowl 5 is suspended from the pivot axis 3 by means of a lever 7. In this case, the bowl forms in same time counterweight.

As shown in Figures 4 and 5, on each side of the window, the bowl 5 pivots on an axis 3 relative to a support 10 U-shaped and wedged on the glass 11 by means of a clamping screw 12. The bowl is suspended from each axis by means of a lever 7. The double pivot axis visible in FIG. 5 makes it possible to offset the bowl outside the plumb of armored glass to facilitate its tilting taking into account the small space available between the edge of the glass and the bottom of the counter table (50 mm).

Using the device is extremely simple. The one who gives change puts it in the bowl. The one who takes the money exerts a finger pressure on the counterweight and its lever to tilt the bowl and collect the money either directly in the hand or in the wallet.

Note that the edge of the bowl has a notch 8 which precisely allows to wedge one lip of the purse and spread the other widely to collect money.

This very simple device is efficient and inexpensive. It must greatly facilitate the elderly or disabled.

It saves precious time at the checkout because the pickup is instant and total; it is no longer necessary to pick up one piece at a time.

Since each client will have to use it, it is an unparalleled advertising target.

It is therefore also an advertising instrument.

As much for its form as for the material which constitutes it, there is no limit of realization.

It can be of great design for luxury customers (in glass, ceramic, marble, fine wood) or in metal (copper, brass, stainless steel) for intense use of large surfaces, or in synthetic materials (PVC, polyester, wood, polymerized, etc.) for advertising products.

Note that the device allows you to easily pick up both the money deposited in the bowl and at the same time the banknotes deposited on top of the bowl.

Coin receptacle characterized by a pivoting receptacle (5), intended to collect the currency, capable of pivoting with respect to a horizontal plane under the effect of a pivoting stress and by means (6) for bringing the bowl (5) in its horizontal plane as soon as the aforementioned stress ceases. 2. Receptacle according to claim 1, characterized in that the bowl (5) pivots on a horizontal axis (3) and has at its lower part a counterweight (6) which returns it to its first position as soon as the stress is interrupted pivot. 3. Receptacle according to claim 2, characterized by two horizontal axes (3 and 3 ') around each of the points, so that the bowl (5) can pivot on one or the other axis according to the direction of rotation imposed . 4. Receptacle according to claim 1, characterized in that the bowl (5) is suspended from a horizontal axis (3) by means of a lever (7) in the manner of a swing to return to its position of departure as soon as the pivoting request is interrupted. 5. Receptacle according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized by a return means to help the bowl (5) return to its starting position as soon as the pivoting stress is interrupted. 6. Receptacle according to claim 5, characterized by a spring-shaped return means. 7. Receptacle according to claim 5, characterized by an elastic-shaped return means.
