A particular embodiment of such an autographic register is described in document FR-A-2,058,033, but it is obvious that the present invention is not limited to this embodiment, being on the contrary applicable to all the types of autographic registers currently known.

Par ailleurs, dans l'exemple de réalisation illustré, un dispositif d'affichage, 13, indépendant du dispositif d'affichage 7A2 de la calculette, est disposé sur une autre zone de la face supérieure du boîtier 1, notamment sur le côté arrière, 4d, de son cadre 4 ; dans cette forme de réalisation, le dispositif d'affichage comprend un premier panneau d'affichage, P1, d'un type connu, par exemple à diodes électroluminescentes, qui permet d'afficher des chiffres, ou éventuellement des lettres, d'une hauteur de plusieurs millimètres, juxtaposés sur une ligne pouvant atteindre une longueur d'une dizaine de centimètres ; l'emploi d'un panneau d'affichage à diodes électro-luminescentes, ou d'un dispositif d'affichage d'un type équivalent, offre l'avantage de permettre un affichage très contrasté, ce qui, joint aux dimensions relativement importantes des chiffres ou lettres affichés, permet au client, placé à plusieurs dizaines de centimètres du côté arriére 4d, de lire l'affichage avec beaucoup de facilité. Dans l'exemple illustré, le panneau d'affichage P1 est placé derrière une fenêtre 15a aménagée dans une face d'un capot de protection, 15, qui fait saillie sur ledit côté arrière 4d ; le capot de protection 15 est de préférence venu de moulage avec le boîtier 1, ou tout au moins sa partie supérieure, mais il pourrait s'agir d'un composant indépendant du boîtier 1, et fixé mécaniquement, par tous moyens appropriés, sur le côté arrière 4d, de manière à établir les contacts électriques nécessaires entre le panneau d'affichage P1 et les circuits électroniques, non représentés, de la calculette. D'une façon générale, les connexions électriques entre le panneau d'affichage P1 et la calculette 7 sont réalisées par des moyens connus, qu'il n'est donc pas nécessaire de décrire en détail ; bien entendu, la calculette doit être pourvue de sorties électriques appropriées, qui sont reliées au panneau P1, par des conducteurs passant dans le boîtier 1, par exemple des conducteurs imprimés sur la face inférieure de son cadre supérieur 4, et traversant avec isolement électrique ses côtés avant et arrière, 4c et 4d. Une seconde fenêtre - non visible au dessin -, analogue à la première fenêtre 15a, peut être aménagée dans la paroi du capot protecteur 15, qui est opposée à ladite première fenêtre 15a, et un second panneau d'affichage (non visible au dessin), éventuellement identique à P1, peut être placé derrière cette seconde fenêtre, dans ledit capot 15, de façon à présenter toujours le même affichage que le premier panneau P1, dans le sens de la flèche f ; ce second dispositif d'affichage est ainsi bien visible pour l'utilisateur du registre autographique. Bien entendu, dans ce cas, le dispositif d'affichage 7A2 de la calculette peut ne pas exister. In the example illustrated, the display panel P1 is placed behind a window 15a arranged in one face of a protective cover, 15, which projects on said rear side 4d; the protective cover 15 is preferably molded with the housing 1, or at least its upper part, but it could be a component independent of the housing 1, and mechanically fixed, by any appropriate means, to the rear side 4d, so as to establish the necessary electrical contacts between the display panel P1 and the electronic circuits, not shown, of the calculator. In general, the electrical connections between the display panel P1 and the calculator 7 are made by known means, which therefore need not be described in detail; of course, the calculator must be provided with appropriate electrical outputs, which are connected to the panel P1, by conductors passing through the housing 1, for example conductors printed on the underside of its upper frame 4, and passing through electrically its front and rear sides, 4c and 4d. Claims (5)

1. Autographic register, in particular for the manual preparation of invoices or purchase orders, comprising a flat housing (1), which is substantially parallelepipedal and into the upper face of which a window (2) is cut, which allows writing on the sheets (3) or strips of paper which are inserted into the said housing (1), and which is surrounded by a relatively wide frame (4), and characterized in that it comprises a small calculator (7), of which at least the keys (7Al) and the display device (7A2) are mounted on the housing, in particular on the frame (4) surrounding the writing window (2), so as to be easily accessible to the user, and a device (13) for displaying in large characters the result of calculations performed with the small calculator (7), this display device (13) being independent of the said small calculator (7) and being arranged so as to be clearly visible to the customer facing the user and so as not to impede the carrying out of writing and calculations by the said user.
2. Autographic register according to Claim 1, characterized in that the small calculator (7) is mounted flat on the side (4c), which is usually turned towards the user, of the upper rectangular frame (4) of the housing (1), while the independent display device (13) is mounted on the opposite side (4d) of the said rectangular frame, so as to present the display to the customer.
3. Autographic register according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the display device (13) is arranged so as to present two identical displays, one to the customer and the other to the user.
4. Autographic register according to any one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that at least the face (P1) of the display device (13) which is turned towards the customer forms an angle of between 0 and 60 degrees, and preferably close to 45 degrees, with the substantially horizontal plane of the upper frame (4) of the housing (1).
5. Autographic register according to any one of Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the small calculator (7) further comprises its own display device (7A2), arranged so as to be clearly visible to the user.
