Bride de fixation d'une moulure de finition.
La présente invention se réfère à une bride de fixation d'une moulure en élastomère qui sert de finition aux joints entre deux ou plusieurs éléments d'une carrosserie automobile.
L'utilisation de moulures en élastomère en tant que finitions de joints de carrosserie automobile, comme par exemple, le joint entre le toit et le panneau latéral d'une automobile, est très répandue dans les constructions automobiles. En effet, la fixation de ce genre de moulures de finition sur la carrosserie du véhicule nécessite en général des moulures en élastomère renforcées d'une base métallique, qui s'emboîtent dans des supports auxiliaires fixés à la carrosserie au moyen d'éléments de fixation conventionnels. Cependant, cette façon de fixer une moulure de finition à la carrosserie d'un véhicule automobile, quoique fonctionnelle et efficace, a un inconvénient, celui d'être trop coûteuse.
C'est cependant l'objectif de la présente invention que de proposer une solution moins coûteuse pour la fixation d'une moulure de finition de joints à une carrosserie automobile qui permettrait de se passer de moulures en élastomère renforcé par une base métallique et de supports auxiliaires de rétention fixés à la carrosserie au moyen d'éléments de fixation conventionnels.
La présente invention a atteint cet objectif par le simple fait de disposer d'une partie libre de la bride latérale du toit, pourvue, a proximité et tout le long du bord libre de la bride latérale, d'un encastrement se composant d'une gouttière de rétention, dont les parois opposées forment des sections de plans et coïncident sous forme d'angle sur le plan de la bride latérale, offrant des superficies de support interne et externe qui assurent le maintien fixe d'une moulure de

finition en élastomère, par le simple fait de l'emboîter dans les surfaces de support.
Une bride de fixation de moulure de finition adoptée par la technique actuelle, sera décrite plus en détail par la suite sur la base des dessins annexés, et sous la forme de trois applications conformément au présent brevet :
Le schéma 1 indique une vision partielle d'une carrosserie automobile garnie d'une moulure de finition,
Le schéma 2 indique en"vue explosée"et d'après une coupe A-A du schéma 1, un type de fixation d'une moulure de finition, conforme à la technique précédente,
Le schéma 3 indique en perspective, d'après la coupe A-A du schéma 1, une application du présent brevet, et

La carrosserie d'une automobile, d'après le schéma 1, est garnie au niveau du joint du toit 1 et du panneau latéral 2 du véhicule, d'une moulure de finition 5.
Le schéma 2 qui illustre une forme de fixation d'une moulure de finition 5'sur la carrosserie, adoptée déjà par la technique actuelle, montre l'utilisation d'une moulure en élastomère (6) renforcée par une base métallique (7) qui s'emboîte dans les supports auxiliaires de rétention (8), en matière plastique, encastrés dans des chevilles de fixation (9) soudées à la carrosserie au niveau du joint du toit (l) et du panneau latéral (2) du véhicule, qui apparait ainsi à une hauteur (h) réduite de la bride latérale (3') du toit.

Le schéma 3 qui montre une application possible du présent brevet, indique la zone du toit (1) ainsi que le panneau latéral (2) d'une automobile, qui apparait à la hauteur (h) augmentée par la bride latérale (3), pourvue d'une gouttière de rétention (4), bride latérale (3) sur laquelle s'emboîte une moulure de finition (5), totalement en élastomère, dont une des diverses applications possibles est représentée, à titre d'exemple, sous forme de lignes tracées.
Les schémas 4 à 6 permettent de voir diverses possibilités d'utilisation du profil de la gouttière de rétention (4) insérée dans la bride latérale (3) du toit, conformément à la présente invention.
La bride de fixation de la moulure de finition qui fait l'objet de la présente invention, est constituée de la bride latérale (3) du toit (1), pourvue, à proximité et tout le long du bord libre de la bride latérale (3), d'un encastrement qui se compose de la gouttière de rétention (4). C'est pourquoi, la bride latérale (3) du toit a une hauteur augmentée (h), ce qui permet à la gouttière de rétention (4) d'y être encastrée au moment du processus d'estampage du toit (1).
La section transversale, soit, le profil de la gouttière de rétention (4) offre une configuration possible parmi d'autres innombrables variantes, comme par exemple, les illustrations des schémas 4 à 6. Mais, de toute façon, l'encastrement de la gouttière de rétention (4) devra pourvoir la bride latérale (3) de sections de plans internes (Pi) et externes (Pe) quoique de largeur réduite, apparaissant sous forme angulaire sur le plan (P) de la bride latérale (3) formant des superficies de support interne (Ei) et externe (Ee) et faisant en sorte ainsi que la moulure de finition (5) en élastomère, qui présente dans sa zone d'encastrement sur

soit maintenue de manière fixe sur cette bride de fixation par le simple fait d'encastrement de la moulure de finition (C) dans les superficies de support interne (Ei) et externe (Ee) de la gouttière de rétention (4).
En dépit des innombrables applications possibles d'une bride de fixation d'une moulure de finition, décrites ici et illustrées par quelques exemples, il va de soi que la présente invention peut subir des modificationss du point de vue de l'application, sans cependant s'éloigner de l'esprit et de la portée de ce brevet.
