Abstract

De uitvinding betreft een brandermembraan voor stralingsbrander omvattende een gesinterd vlies uit anorganische vezels die bestand zijn tegen hoge temperaturen waarbij tenminste het van de brandstoftoevoerzijde afgekeerde membraanoppervlak voorzien is van groeven in de vorm van een raster en welke groeven de mazen van het raster begrenzen. De mazen zijn bij voorkeur regelmatige veelhoeken met een oppervlakte tussen 4 en 400 mm2. De porositeit ligt tussen 70% en 90% en de permeabiliteitsvariatie over haar oppervlak is kleiner dan 25%.
