Abstract

Procédé de conversion de cuivre partant avec du métal blanc ou un mélange de métal blanc et de cuivre métallique, dans lequel un gaz d'oxydation entre en contact avec la masse de cuivre fondue à la surface supérieure de la masse fondue ou à proximité de celle-ci pendant que l'on asperge la masse au moyen d'un gaz inerte à partir du fond de la masse ou à proximité de celui-ci, l'aspersion étant poursuivie après l'arrêt de la mise en contact avec le gaz d'oxydation.
