Abstract

Disclosed are a ventilation device of a bulk container and a bulk container comprising the same. The ventilation device comprises a ventilation pipe (1) and a one-way valve (2), wherein the ventilation pipe (1) is arranged on the body of the container, an air inlet thereof faces the outside of the body of the container, and an air outlet thereof faces the inside of the body of the container; and the one-way valve (2) is arranged in the body of the container, and can open and close the air outlet of the ventilation pipe (1). The ventilation device avoids the deformation or damage of the container caused by the fact it is easy to generate the difference between the air pressures inside and outside the container when bulk cargoes are transported with the container, thereby achieving the purpose of safely transporting and safely unloading bulk cargoes with the container.

Description

The present invention provides a ventilation device of a bulk container, the ventilation device comprising:
a ventilation pipe; and a one-way valve;
the ventilation pipe is arranged on a body of the container, an air inlet thereof faces the outside of the body of the container, and an air outlet thereof faces the inside of the body of the container;

wherein the ventilation device further comprises a detachable protection housing, which is arranged in the container and surrounds a hollow structure together with a part of the body of the container, the one-way valve being surrounded in the hollow structure;
further wherein the ventilation pipe is arranged obliquely, and the position of the air outlet is higher than that of the air inlet.
[0003] The ventilation device of the container achieves equilibrium between air pressures inside and outside the container when unloading bulk cargoes, thereby avoiding the deformation or damage of the container. The present disclosure further provides a bulk container comprising the above ventilation device.
[0004] The ventilation device of the bulk container in the present disclosure comprises a ventilation pipe and a one-way valve, wherein the ventilation pipe is arranged on the body of the container, an air inlet thereof faces the outside of the body of the container, and an air outlet thereof faces the inside of the body of the container; the one-way valve is arranged in the body of the container, and can open and close the air outlet of the ventilation pipe.
[0005] The ventilation device further comprises a detachable protection housing, la which is arranged in the container and surrounds a hollow structure together with a part of the body of the container, in which the one-way valve is surrounded.
[0006] The ventilation pipe is arranged obliquely, and the position of the air outlet is higher than that of the air inlet.
[0007] The ventilation pipe is a hollow pipe with a circular, square or rectangular cross section.
[0008] The one-way valve is a soft cover plate.
[0009] The soft cover plate is fixed on the body by hinging, bolting, riveting or welding.
[0010] The ventilation device is arranged on an end lintel, an end sill, a top-side beam, a door plate, a door beam, a wall plate, or a top portion of the bulk container.
[0011] Another objective of the present disclosure is to provide a bulk container comprising the above ventilation device.
[0012] At least one ventilation devices are arranged on the bulk container.
[0013] According to the container of the present disclosure, the air outlet of the ventilation pipe is covered by the soft cover plate during the normal transportation to prevent for example moisture from leaking into the body; bulk cargoes are discharged when unloaded so that the air pressure inside the container is lower than the air pressure outside, the soft cover plate is then naturally opened with the air outside the container coming into the container through the air inlet of the ventilation pipe, thereby achieving the equilibrium between air pressures inside and outside the container in order to achieve safe transporting and safe unloading of the bulk cargoes by the container.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION [0018] The present disclosure will be further described below according to embodiments with reference to drawings.
[0019] A ventilation device arranged on a door lintel of the body of a bulk container is taken as an example to explain the present disclosure, which is only illustrative and does not intend to limit the present disclosure. It should be understood by those skilled in the art that the ventilation device may be arranged at any locations, such as an end lintel, an end sill, a top-side beam, a door plate, a door beam, a wall plate, or a top portion, of the body of the bulk container suitable for arranging it.
[0020] Fig. 2 is a schematic view of a bulk container with a ventilation device on its door lintel according to the present disclosure; and Fig. 3 is a cross-sectional view taken along line A-A of the ventilation device of the bulk container illustrated in Fig. 2. As shown in Fig. 2, a plurality of ventilation devices are arranged on the door lintel of the body of the container. [0021] As shown in Fig. 3, a hollow cylinder structure extending in a horizontal direction is surrounded by a door lintel 41 and a door lintel plate 42 of the container. The door lintel 41 is a U-typed structure formed by bending a steel plate, wherein the U-typed structure comprises a front standing plate 411, a rear standing plate 412 and a bottom plate 413 connecting the two standing plates. The door lintel plate 42 is also formed by bending a steel plate and comprises an upper top plate 421, an inclined plate 422 and a lower top plate 423, wherein the upper top plate 421 and the lower top plate 423 extend in the horizontal direction; the inclined plate 422 is connected between the upper top plate 421 and the lower top plate 423; the upper top plate 421 is welded to the front standing plate 411 and the rear standing plate 412; the upper top plate 421 is flush with the front standing plate 411; and the upper top plate 421 is connected with the inclined plate 422 outside the door lintel, i.e. the upper top plate 421 is wider than the bottom plate 413.
[0022] A ventilation pipe 1 is a steel pipe, the outer end of which is welded to the front standing plate 411 of the door lintel 41 to form an air inlet, and the inner end of which is welded to the rear standing plate 412 of the door lintel 41 to form an air outlet. The ventilation pipe 1 is arranged obliquely so that the air outlet is higher than the air inlet to prevent rainwater from flowing into the container.
[0023] A soft cover plate 2 is a thin plate, connected with the rear standing plate 412 of the door lintel of the container by a hinge and mounted at the air outlet of the ventilation pipe 1. The area of the soft cover plate 2 is larger than that of the air outlet of the ventilation pipe 2 so as to cover the air outlet of the ventilation pipe 1, so that the soft cover plate 2 is covered on the air outlet of the ventilation pipe 1 for sealing the bulk container during transportation to prevent moisture from leaking into the body; the air pressure inside the container decreases when unloading, so that the soft cover plate 2 is opened due to the atmosphere pressure.
[0024] A detachable protection housing 3 comprises a first L-typed plate 31, a Z-typed plate 32 and a second L-typed plate 33. The first L-typed plate 31 is welded to the inclined plate 422 of the door lintel plate 42, while the second L-typed plate 33 is welded to the rear standing plate 412 of the door lintel 41; an upper portion and a lower portion of the Z-typed plate 32 are respectively connected with the first L-typed plate 31 and the second L-typed plate 33 by bolt and nut. A hollow cylinder structure extending in the direction of the door lintel is surrounded by a part of the upper top plate 421 and the inclined plate 422 of the door lintel plate 42, the first L-typed plate 31, the Z-typed plate 32 and the second L-typed plate 33 of the detachable protection housing 3, and a part of the rear standing plate 412 of the door lintel plate 42. A plurality of ventilation devices arranged on the door lintel is surrounded by the hollow cylinder structure. The length of the hollow cylinder structure is smaller than the width inside the bulk container, so that a certain distance is formed at each of both ends of the hollow cylinder structure, i.e. the inner space of the hollow cylinder structure is communicated with the inner space of the container, in order to keep ventilating. The detachable protection housing 3 can prevent cargoes from directly pressing against the soft cover plate 2 of the ventilation pipe 1, which affects the effect of ventilating.
[0025] Due to the above ventilation device, the bulk container having the above ventilation device in the present disclosure enables the equilibrium between the air pressures inside and outside the container when there is a pressure difference between the inside and the outside of the bulk container, to avoid the deformation or damage of the container.

Claims (7)

  1. WHAT IS CLAIMED IS:
    1. A ventilation device of a bulk container, characterized in that, the ventilation device comprising:
    a ventilation pipe; and a one-way valve;
    the ventilation pipe is arranged on a body of the container, an air inlet thereof faces the outside of the body of the container, and an air outlet thereof faces the inside of the body of the container;
    the one-way valve is arranged in the body of the container, and can open and close the air outlet of the ventilation pipe;
    wherein the ventilation device further comprises a detachable protection housing, which is arranged in the container and surrounds a hollow structure together with a part of the body of the container, the one-way valve being surrounded in the hollow structure;
    further wherein the ventilation pipe is arranged obliquely, and the position of the air outlet is higher than that of the air inlet.
  2. 2. The ventilation device of the bulk container according to claim 1, wherein the ventilation pipe is a hollow pipe with a circular, square or rectangular cross section.
  3. 3. The ventilation device of the bulk container according to claim 1, wherein the one-way valve is a soft cover plate.
  4. 4. The ventilation device of the bulk container according to claim 3, wherein the soft cover plate is fixed on the body by hinging, bolting, riveting or welding.
  5. 5. The ventilation device of the bulk container according to claim 1, wherein the ventilation device is arranged on an end lintel, an end sill, a top-side beam, a door plate, a door beam, a wall plate, or a top portion of the bulk container.
  6. 6. A bulk container comprising the ventilation device of the bulk container according to any of claims 1-5.
  7. 7. The bulk container according to claim 6, wherein at least one ventilation device is arranged on the bulk container.
