Abstract

A drawer, having lateral and opposing frames (1) which are arranged on a rear wall (3) and on which frame attachments (2) are arranged, said frame attachments being connected to a front panel (4) which can be adjusted in respect of its inclination by means of a respective adjusting device, is formed such that the adjusting device has a plate-like holder (6) which is firmly connected to the respective frame attachment (2) and which is fitted with an adjusting element (7) which can be moved relative to said holder and which engages in a connection part (18) which is fixed to the front panel (4).

Description

Drawer The invention relates to a drawer according to the preamble of Claim 1. An inclination adjustment of the front panel is performed by means of an adjustment device, which consists of adjustment parts corresponding with one another, of which one is fastened on the front panel and the other is fastened in an actuatable manner on the frame attachment. This fastening has heretofore been performed by means of a multipart housing, which receives the adjustment device and whose housing parts are connected to one another by connecting means, which are guided through the frame attachment. In addition to the thickness buildup of this housing, which is disadvantageous from a design aspect, the introduction of passage boreholes in the frame attachment is to be considered very disadvantageous with respect to desirable simple and cost-effective production, predominantly in the case of a glass plate as the frame attachment, as is often used and which can only be processed with difficulty, of course. In the case of a glass attachment manufactured from single-pane safety glass (ESG), no drilling can be performed, since otherwise the pane breaks. Since such drawers are used as mass-produced parts in large piece counts, in particular the mentioned high manufacturing expenditure must be considered to be particularly problematic, because it always opposes the dequested efficient and therefore cost-effective production. The invention is based on the object of refining a drawer of the type according to the species such that it is producible and installable more cost-effectively and meets the demands for a more attractive visual design. This object is achieved by a drawer having the features of Claim 1. 430397.1 (GHMATera) P93469AU 2 In contrast to the prior art, the introduction of boreholes in the frame attachment can be omitted, which results in particular in a noteworthy cost minimization if the frame attachment consists of glass, the processing of which, as mentioned, is only possible with substantial effort. Furthermore, the invention allows the use of single-pane safety glass for frame attachments. Single-pane safety glass consists of a single special heat-treated pane. The glass has increased shock and impact resistance due to the treatment. This glass disintegrates into extremely small pieces without sharp edges if it breaks. The danger of injury for the user of the drawer is thus significantly reduced. Instead of glass, also stone, metal, wood, plastic, or composite materials embodied as plates or sheets can be used as the frame attachment with the solution according to the invention. The greatest possible flexibility therefore exists in the material selection and the design of the frame attachment. According to a refinement of the invention, the holder, which bears the adjustment member so it is movable relative thereto, is plate-shaped and is glued to the frame attachment. In principle, the holder can be screwed together with the frame attachment if it consists of a material which is easy to process, such as wood or a wooden material. For this purpose, the holder has passage boreholes, which are preferably embodied as countersunk boreholes and are used to receive wood screws or the like. For precise positioning, the holder can have a positioning aid in correspondence with the frame bearing the frame attachment, for example, in the form of a projection which engages in a depression of the frame. 4303976_1 (GHMalers) P93469AU 3 Just as the holder which bears the adjustment member and which is assigned to the front panel is embodied as plate-shaped, a rear connecting element can also be embodied as plate-shaped, which is used for connecting the frame attachment to the rear wall, wherein this connecting element is glued in place on the frame attachment, on the one hand, and is connected in a formfitting manner to the rear wall or to an attachment bracket fastened thereon, on the other hand. The adjustment member, which is positioned according to the invention in the region of one of the wide sides of the frame attachment, and which is arranged so it is adjustable on the holder and which moreover engages in a formfitting manner in an attachment part fastened on the front panel, is preassembled together with the holder as a module. To cover the holder, which has a very flat construction, after it is fastened onto the frame attachment, a cap is pushed thereon, which consists of a cuboid inlay removably interlocked with the holder and a cover which completely covers this inlay at least in the visible region, and which has an appropriately designed surface as a visible element. Therefore, the cap, which forms a design element, can also be changed later or designed as desired by the customer, respectively, whereby a high degree of design flexibility is ensured. Alternatively, the holder can also be embodied in one piece, without cap. The one-piece embodiment can be produced as a plastic or zinc diecast part, for example. The visible surfaces are advantageously subjected to surface finishing here, however. The inlay and the cover are also preassembled to form a cap and are pushed onto the frame attachment from above, wherein the cap covers the frame attachment on both sides in accordance with its width and height. Since the holder with integrated adjustment member is only arranged on one side, preferably the inner side, of the frame attachment as the fastening of the front panel, the region of the cap resting on the outer side can be kept very thin, whereby a very filigree 4303976_1 (GHMtters) P93469AU 4 embodiment of the cap with respect to its thickness results, which determines the overall impression in this region. To actuate the adjustment member by means of a suitable tool, a corresponding access opening is provided in the inlay, the cover, and/or the cap, using which it is possible to reach through to the adjustment member. It is also conceivable to remove the cap during the adjustment. The rear connecting elements, which are fastened on the frame attachments, and detent brackets, which engage in a formfitting manner and are fixedly connected to the rear wall, are also each provided with a cap, which corresponds in its fundamental structure to those which are provided for covering the frontal holder, i.e., they each consist of an inlay connected in a formfitting manner to the holder or the detent bracket and a cover which covers it, which is moreover preferably embodied as a sheet-metal part. In the case of a one-piece embodiment of the rear connecting element, detent elements of an attachment bracket can also be embodied integrally. According to a further idea of the invention, the holder and/or the rear-side connecting element are held in a formfitting manner on the frame attachment. For this purpose, the holder or the connecting element has detent tongues, which engage in grooves aligned transversely to the longitudinal extension of the frame attachment, wherein this type of fastening suggests itself above all if the frame attachment consists of glass. The grooves can also be introduced without problems and substantially in a cost-neutral manner during the production, i.e., as the frame attachment is cut to size. The holder is preferably embodied as a rail, which is U-shaped in cross-section, having clamp sections, whose two opposing legs have the detent tongues engaging in the grooves of the frame attachment, while the web connecting the legs presses against the front edge of the frame attachment. 4303976_1{GHMalters) P9345DAU 5 Since the grooves are expediently continuous, the adjustment device provided as a preassembled module can be pushed on. To accommodate the adjustment member, a pocket-shaped bulge is provided between two detent tongues of one side, in which the adjustment member is positioned. As mentioned, boreholes are to be introduced into the frame attachment to fasten the known adjustment devices, which require relatively large edge distances upon use of a glass pane as the frame attachment, whereby the adjustment device is represented as relatively bulky overall. This opposes the design demands, according to which the visible component of the adjustment device is to be kept as small as possible in relation to the glass surface. This applies similarly for the adjustment device, in which the holder is glued to the frame attachment, since for this purpose a sufficiently large adhesive surface must be provided. The described formfitting connection of the holder with the frame attachment offers recognizable advantages here, since the dimensioning thereof is exclusively determined, like that of the cap, by the components which are used for the function of the adjustment device. In this regard, in particular the drawer equipped with adjustment device is held in a formfitting manner can fully satisfy the demands made thereon as a design element. Further advantageous embodiments of the invention are characterized in the subclaims. An exemplary embodiment of the invention will be described hereafter on the basis of the appended drawings. In the figures: Figure 1 shows a drawer according to the invention in a perspective view 43039701 (GHNMaltrs) P93469AU 6 Figure 2 shows a part of an exemplary embodiment of the drawer according to the invention in a detail view Figure 3 shows another part of the drawer, also shown in a detail view Figure 4 shows a side of the drawer in an exploded view Figure 5 shows the part of the drawer according to Figure 4 in a partially assembled position Figure 6 shows a further exemplary embodiment of the invention in an exploded view Figure 7 shows the example according to Figure 6 in the assembled position Figure 8 shows a rear part of the drawer in a detail view Figure 9 shows the side of the drawer according to Figure 4 in an embodiment variant corresponding to Figures 6 and 8, also in an exploded view Figure 10 shows the side of the drawer according to Figure 9 in a partially assembled position Figure 11 shows the part according to Figures 4 and 5 and also 6 and 8 in the assembled position Figure 1 shows a drawer having lateral frames 1, which are opposite one another and are attached to a rear wall 3, wherein the plate-shaped, in particular glass frame attachments 2, which are also connected to the rear wall 3, are arranged on the frames 1. 4303976_1 (GHManles) PD3459AU 7 Via one adjustment device in each case, the frame attachments 2 are connected to a front panel 4, which is adjustable in its inclination. The adjustment device consists of an attachment part 18, which is fastened on the front panel 4, and an adjustment member 7, which is engaged therewith and is positioned in the region of one of the wide sides of the frame attachment 2, and which is movable relative to a plate-shaped holder 6, which is fastened by gluing in the case of the example shown in Figures 2 and 4 on the inner side of the frame attachment 2. The holder 6 presses against adhesive surfaces 9 of the frame attachment 2. In these figures, and also in the case of the variant of the holder 6 shown in Figures 6 and 9, it can be seen clearly that the adjustment member 7 consists of an adjustment element 8, which is mounted in the holder 6, and a slide 10 engaged therewith, which is fastened in a formfitting manner on the attachment part 18 and using which the front panel 4 is changeable in the inclination thereof upon pivoting of the adjustment element 8. In order to provide the possibility of connecting the holder 6 alternatively or additionally to the frame attachment 2 if the frame attachment consists of wood or a wooden material, for example, countersunk holes 14 are provided in the holder 6, for guiding through screws. The respective frame attachment 2 is fastened to the rear wall 3 by means of a connecting element 11, which is shown as a detail in Figures 3 and 8 respectively as an exemplary embodiment. The connecting element 11 recognizable in Figure 3 consists of a plate-shape support 12, which is glued like the holder 6 according to Figure 4 via an adhesive surface 9 to the frame attachment 2, and a receptacle 13, in which an attachment bracket 15 is held in a formfitting manner, which is connected via detent elements 19 to the rear wall 3. 4303976_1 (GHMalers) PS3469AU 8 For the form fit with the attachment bracket 15, the receptacle 13 is embodied as a T groove, in which the attachment bracket 15 adapted thereto is inserted. The above-mentioned further embodiment variant of the holder 6 is recognizable in Figures 6 and 7. The holder 6 is embodied here as a trough which is U-shaped in cross section, and which has two clamp sections 21 on the ends, each of which is provided on the opposing legs with detent tongues 23, which engage in a formfitting manner in grooves 24 of the frame attachment 2, which extend transversely to its longitudinal extension. The grooves 24 are open at least toward one longitudinal edge, in the example, toward the upper longitudinal edge, so that the preassembled holder 6 with adjustment member 7, which is provided as a module, can be pushed onto the frame attachment 2 until it assumes the final position shown in Figure 7. To receive the adjustment member 7, a bulge 22 is provided between the two clamp sections 21, by which a pocket is formed between the frame attachment 2 and the wall of the bulge 22, in which the adjustment member 7 is inserted in a displaceable manner. In Figure 8, the rear-side connecting element 11, comparable to the fastening of the holder 6 according to Figure 6, is also held by a form fit on the frame attachment 2, for which purpose the plate-shape support 12 also has detent tongues 23, which engage in a groove 24 of the frame attachment 2. To connect the connecting element 11 to the attachment bracket 15, detent webs 25 are formed onto its receptacle 13, which are connected to corresponding correspondence parts of the attachment bracket 15. Figures 4 and 9 show a detail view of the individual parts, using which the frame attachment 2 is fastened on the front panel 4 and the rear wall 3. In addition to the detent elements 19, the attachment bracket 15 has a centering aid 20. It is used as an installation aid, in particular if the installation is performed by pivoting in after previously performed installation in the front region. 4303976_1 (GHMatters) P93469AU 9 As can be seen in Figure 1, the adjustment devices, using which the frame attachment 2 is fastened on the front panel, and the rear connecting elements 11, using which the frame attachment 2 is fastened on the rear wall, are each covered by pushed-on caps 5. These caps 5 each consist of an inlay 16, which is guided over the holder 6 having integrated adjustment member 7, on the one hand, and over the connecting element 11, so that these components are not visible. A cover 17, which is pushed onto the inlay 16 and completely covers it, ensures an attractive surface of the inlay 16. In Figure 5, the cap 5, which is already pushed onto the connecting element 11, is recognizable, while the cap 5 assigned to the holder 6 is shown before it is pushed on. In contrast, both terminal caps 5 are not yet put on in Figure 10. Finally, Figure 11 illustrates the frame attachment which is complete in this regard, i.e., in this view the holder 6 assigned to the front panel 4 is also covered by the corresponding cap 5. 430397G_ (GHMattcrs) PS3469AU 10 List of reference numerals 1 frame 2 frame attachment 3 rear wall 4 front panel 5 cap 6 holder 7 adjustment member 8 adjustment element 9 adhesive surface 10 slide 11 connecting element 12 support 13 receptacle 14 countersunk borehole 15 attachment bracket 16 inlay 17 cover 18 attachment part 19 detent element 20 centering aid 21 clamp section 22 bulge 23 detent tongue 24 groove 25 detent web 4303975_1 (GHMahois) P93469AU
