Description

WO 2011/000613 PCT/EP2010/056046 HOLDER FOR FIRE EXTINGUISHER Description 5 The invention relates to a holder having a mounting position for a fire extinguisher and having a registration device for registering the fire extinguisher in the mounting position. 10 Numerous holders for fire extinguishers are known, these holders keeping the fire extinguisher ready in a standby location, for example in a building, in order that, if needed, the fire extinguisher is readily available close to the source of the fire. 15 In order to make it easier to find the fire extinguisher in the event of a fire, DE 20 2005 009 481 Ul proposes that the standby location of the fire extinguisher is indicated by means 20 of visual/audible signals, with the signals being triggered by a smoke detector. However, numerous circuits which indicate that the fire extinguisher has been removed from the standby location 25 are also known. For example, DE 1 708 098 discloses a holder for a fire extinguisher, which holder is provided with a switch for operating a light signal device and/or a sound signal device if the fire extinguisher is removed from the holder. The switch is 30 fastened to the holder in the form of a contact switch and is depressed by the fire extinguisher. US 2007/0028673 Al discloses an apparatus for remote controlled inspection of at least one fire 35 extinguisher. The apparatus comprises a detector for identifying that the fire extinguisher is not in its mounting position in the fire extinguisher station. The 3115555_1 (GHMatters) P89486.AU WO 2011/000613 - 2 - PCT/EP2010/056046 apparatus also comprises a detector for monitoring the pressure of the fire extinguisher, a detector for registering access to the fire extinguisher and an apparatus for sending the inspection report from the 5 fire extinguisher station to a main station. DE 20 2008 007 854 Ul discloses a fire extinguisher having an alarmed security apparatus, with the fire extinguisher having a lever, a fire extinguisher 10 security pin, an alarmed security apparatus and a contact sensor. In this case, an alarm signal is output when the security pin is withdrawn from its mount. FR 2 455 774 discloses a holder for a fire 15 extinguisher, which holder triggers a fire alarm when the fire extinguisher is removed from the holder. A contact switch which is arranged at the upper end of a rail system is operated in order to trigger a fire alarm. A spring is tensioned by the weight of the fire 20 extinguisher such that a contact switch is not operated in the mounting position. The contact switch is operated when the fire extinguisher is removed from the suspended mounting arrangement. To this end, the spring pulls the suspended mounting arrangement upward, with 25 the suspended mounting arrangement operating the contact switch by virtue of the spring stress and triggering a fire alarm. Said invention also proposes forming the suspended mounting arrangement as a spring scale in order to ascertain the weight of the fire 30 extinguisher which is suspended in the suspended mounting arrangement. Disclosure of the invention 35 The object of the invention is to provide an improved holder for a fire extinguisher. 3115555_1 (GHMatters) P89486 AU WO 2011/000613 - 3 - PCT/EP2010/056046 This object is achieved by virtue of a holder as claimed in claim 1. Preferred embodiments are specified in the dependent claims. 5 The invention recognizes that a holder for a fire extinguisher can trigger a fire alarm by the holder of the fire extinguisher having an activation device and a registration device which are coupled to one another, 10 with the activation device triggering at least one fire detector when the registration device detects that the fire extinguisher has been removed from the mounting position. 15 This has the advantage that, if there is a fire, the removal of the fire extinguisher from the holder triggers a fire alarm and the person who has removed the fire extinguisher can immediately begin to extinguish the source of the fire without having to 20 look for a manual fire alarm box for triggering a fire alarm or to report the fire alarm by telephone. In this way, the source of the fire can be fought in its initial stages, it still being possible at this stage to extinguish the source of the fire using fewer 25 resources and the damage caused being comparatively low compared with a later extinguishing time. In one embodiment of the invention, the registration device of the holder has a fastening device for the 30 fire extinguisher and has a detection device, it being possible for the fastening device to be moved between a first unloaded position and a second spring-loaded position which corresponds to the mounting position of the fire extinguisher, and with the detection device 35 being designed to ascertain the position of the fastening device and, if the position of the fastening 3115S _1 (OHMattea) P89468.AU WO 2011/000613 - 4 - PCT/EP2010/056046 device does not correspond to the mounting position, to trigger the activation device. This ensures that a fire alarm is triggered when the fire extinguisher is removed. 5 In a further embodiment of the invention, the registration device comprises a device for determining the mass of the fire extinguisher which is in the mounting position, and a detection device which is 10 designed to compare a determined value of the mass of the fire extinguisher which is in the mounting position with a prespecified value, with an activation device being coupled to the registration device and triggering a detector when there is a deviation in the comparison 15 by a threshold value. This ensures that manipulation of the fire extinguisher and removal of the fire extinguisher for extinguishing a fire are detected. In a further embodiment of the invention, the detection 20 device has a memory in which a value for the mass of at least one type of fire extinguisher is stored, with the detection device being designed to compare the ascertained value for the mass of the fire extinguisher which is in the mounting position with a value for the 25 mass for the fire extinguisher which is stored in the memory, and to trigger the activation device when there is a deviation in the ascertained value. This ensures that manipulation of the fire extinguisher, for example by replacing the fire extinguisher with a manipulated 30 fire extinguisher, or removal of the fire extinguisher is detected in the holder. The removal of the fire extinguisher for the purpose of triggering a fire alarm is also detected. 35 In one embodiment of the invention, the registration device has a force pick-up for measuring the mass of 3115555_1 (GHManers) P8948AU WO 2011/000613 - 5 - PCT/EP2010/056046 the fire extinguisher which is in the mounting position. This has the advantage that the holder can register changes in the mass at the fastening device in a simple and reliable manner. 5 In a further embodiment of the invention, the force pick-up is in the form of a load cell and has a strain gauge which is designed to use a deformation to ascertain the mass of the fire extinguisher which is 10 arranged in the mounting position. This has the advantage that the mass of the fire extinguisher can be detected in a simple and reliable manner with a low level of wear. 15 In one embodiment of the invention, the registration unit has a contact switch which signals the mounting position. The mounting position of the fire extinguisher on the holder is detected in a simple and reliable manner in this way. 20 In a further embodiment of the invention, the detector is designed, when it is activated by the activation device, to send a digital message and/or a signal to a mobile telephone and/or to a central fire alarm system. 25 The fire alarm can be forwarded and the necessary parties can be informed of the fire alarm in a simple and reliable manner in this way. In a further embodiment of the invention, the holder 30 can be deactivated by means of a key-operated switch. This ensures that a fire alarm is not triggered when the holder is being serviced. In a further embodiment of the invention, the 35 registration device, the activation device and the detector are arranged all together in one housing, with 3115555.1 (GHMtters) P8948 AU WO 2011/000613 - 6 - PCT/EP2010/056046 the detector, when it is activated by the activation device, outputting an audible and/or visual signal. This ensures that the fire extinguisher on the holder can be found in the dark and/or in a smoke-filled room 5 in the event of a fire. In a further embodiment of the invention, the registration unit has a rail system, with the fastening device for the fire extinguisher being fastened to a 10 sliding carriage which runs in a movable manner in the rail system and is braced by a spring. This has the advantage that the registration device can hold and detect a fire extinguisher of a relatively high weight class in a stable and reliable manner. 15 The invention will be explained in greater detail below with reference to figures, in which: fig. 1 shows a schematic top view of a holder according 20 to a first embodiment; fig. 2 and fig. 3 show a schematic side view of the holder according to the first embodiment; 25 fig. 4 shows a schematic top view of a holder according to a second embodiment; fig. 5 shows a schematic circuit diagram of the holder according to the first embodiment; and 30 fig. 6 shows a schematic circuit diagram of the holder according to the second embodiment. Fig. 1 shows a schematic top view of a holder 1 35 according to a first embodiment. A voltage source 10 and, on the side, a key-operated switch 13 are mounted 3115555.1 (GHMatters) P894"8AU WO 2011/000613 - 7 - PCT/EP2010/056046 in a housing 15 of the holder 1. The housing 15 also has a plurality of light-emitting elements 14 and also a loudspeaker 12 and an antenna 22 which together are part of a fire detector 42. In the housing 15, an 5 activation device 11 is connected to the voltage source 10 by means of a first electrical line. A registration device 40 comprises a detection device 41 and a fastening device 16, with the detection device 41 having a rail system 25 comprising a contact switch 17 10 and also a sliding carriage 18. The sliding carriage 18 of the rail system 25 is fastened to a retaining bolt 20 by means of a spring 21. The sliding carriage 18 is arranged such that it can move in a rail 19 of the rail system 25, with the sliding carriage 18 having 15 fastening elements on that side which is remote from the plane of the drawing, said fastening elements comprising the fastening device 16 from which a fire extinguisher can be suspended. The contact switch 17 of the detection device 41 is connected to the activation 20 device 11 by means of a second electrical line and is arranged in the rail 19 such that the sliding carriage 18 can operate the contact switch 17. The housing 15 has a slot 24 in the potential movement path of the sliding carriage 18 in order to guide the fastening 25 elements for fastening the fastening device 16 through the housing 15. If the housing 15 of the holder 1 is mounted upright on a stand or a building wall, the spring 21 is 30 prestressed by the weight of the fastening device 16 and of the sliding carriage 18. In this case, the spring 21 is designed such that, in this state, the sliding carriage 18 does not make contact with the contact switch 17 and the contact switch 17 retains its 35 switching state without any change. If a fire extinguisher is fitted to the fastening device 16, the 3115555_1 (GHMatters) PB9466.AU WO 2011/000613 - 8 - PCT/EP2010/056046 sliding carriage 18 is moved downward together with the fastening device 16 and the spring 21 is tensioned. If the fire extinguisher has a specific minimum mass and is in the mounting position on the fastening device 16, 5 the sliding carriage 18 operates the contact switch 17 in the end stop of the rail 19. The mounting position is the position in which the fire extinguisher is correctly fitted to the fastening device 16 and presses the sliding carriage, which is connected to the 10 fastening device 16, onto the contact switch 17. In this state, the contact switch 17 has a different switching state to when the sliding carriage does not make contact with the contact switch. 15 The key-operated switch 13 is designed for the purpose of activating the holder 1 to monitor for removal of the fire extinguisher from the fastening device 16 after the fire extinguisher is inserted into the fastening device 16. Deactivating the holder 1 during 20 servicing can prevent a fire alarm from being triggered by the fire detector 42, in particular by the loudspeaker 12, and can also prevent a report from being sent to a mobile telephone or a central fire alarm system. In this way, the operability of the 25 holder 1 can be routinely checked without triggering a fire alarm. If the mounting position of the fire extinguisher is changed by the fire extinguisher being removed from the 30 fastening device 16, the tensioned spring 21 draws the fastening device 16 and the sliding carriage 18 away from the contact switch 17 by relieving the load on the fastening device 16. As a result, the contact switch 17 is relieved of load and therefore the contact switch 17 35 assumes the switching state for an unloaded fastening device 16. The detection device 41 comprising the 3115555.1 (GHMatters) P89486.AU WO 2011/000613 - 9 - PCT/EP2010/056046 contact switch 17 is connected to the activation device 11 via the second electrical line 31 and is designed to trigger the activation device 11 when the switching state of the contact switch 17 changes from a loaded 5 fastening device 16 to an unloaded fastening device 16. When it is triggered, the activation device 11 activates the fire detector 42 in order to indicate a fire or the formation of smoke. In this case, removal 10 of the fire extinguisher corresponds to triggering of a fire alarm by means of a manual fire alarm box. This has the advantage that, if there is a fire, the person who discovers the fire does not need to spend time reporting the fire and to begin fighting the fire but 15 rather triggers the fire alarm by beginning to fight the fire using a fire extinguisher. Since a fire can still be fought directly in the initial stage of propagation using fire extinguishers, this triggering of a fire alarm offers the advantage of saving time for 20 fighting the fire since no time is lost triggering the fire alarm. In accordance with the prior art, the person who discovers the fire had to begin fighting the fire upon discovering the fire. However, this delays triggering of the fire alarm and therefore professional 25 fire-fighting being begun by the fire department, or the source of the fire being immediately fought using the fire extinguisher, since the person is busy looking for a manual fire alarm box or making a telephone call to inform the fire department. 30 The fire detector 42 comprises the loudspeaker 12, the light-emitting elements 14 and the antenna 22 which are connected to the activation unit 11, with the fire detector 42 being designed to signal a fire alarm by 35 being activated by the activation unit 11. In this case, the loudspeaker 12 is designed to output a 31155551 (GHMatter) P89488.AU WO 2011/000613 - 10 - PCT/EP2010/056046 clearly perceptible audible signal and, together with the light-emitting elements 14 which output a visual signal in the event of a fire, to warn of a fire and at the same time to make it easier to find the fire 5 extinguisher. In this embodiment, the antenna 22 is used to send a message and/or a signal to a mobile telephone and/or to a central fire alarm system. In this way, the fire detector 42 can trigger a fire alarm in the entire building and initiate evacuation of the 10 building. Furthermore, the area in which the fire was triggered can be located in this way, in order to show the fire department, or the central fire alarm system, the source of the fire by means of, for example, a fire alarm panel. However, other components with the aim of 15 warning as many people as possible as quickly as possible in the area of a building or a public space which is threatened by fire are suitable fire detectors 42. In this embodiment, the connection to other fire detectors is established via the antenna 22 by means of 20 radio. However, other transmission means, for example via electrical lines, light signals or sound signals, are possible. The activation device 11 is also connected to a smoke 25 detector 26 which is arranged in the housing 15. This has the advantage that, for example in the event of failure of the radio connection, the holder 1 is able to detect a source of a fire which breaks out in the room of the holder 1 or in the area surrounding the 30 holder 1, with the result that the activation device 11 can activate the fire detector 42. In order to enable smoke from a fire to enter the housing 15 more effectively, the housing 15 has ventilation slots (not illustrated) on the upper and lower faces, said 35 ventilation slots being designed to allow the smoke from a fire to enter the housing 15. In this 3115555_1 (GHMatters) P89486.AU WO 2011/000613 - 11 - PCT/EP2010/056046 embodiment, the smoke detector 26 is arranged in the housing 15, but it can also be arranged outside the housing 15, for example in a region which is at risk of fire or on a ceiling of a room, in order to register a 5 fire at an early stage. Power is supplied to the holder 1 by means of a battery 10 and/or a mains connection (not illustrated). The battery 10 is designed to maintain both the visual and 10 audible signals and the radio connection by means of the antenna 22 if no mains power is available due to a power outage. Fig. 2 and fig. 3 show a schematic side view of a 15 holder 1 according to a first embodiment. In said figures, the fastening device 16 in fig. 2 is illustrated in its mounting position, as shown in fig. 1. In fig. 3, the fastening device 16 is shown in a removal position in which the fastening device 16 is 20 located in the holder 1 in a manner relieved of load. The intermediate positions between the fastening device 16 in the removal position and the fastening device 16 in the mounting position are reached if a fire extinguisher which falls below the minimum mass is 25 fitted to the fastening device 16. Furthermore, these intermediate positions can also be reached by a fire extinguisher which has already been used and has been partially emptied being fastened to the fastening device 16. In these cases, the contact switch 17 is not 30 operated, as shown in fig. 1, in a first embodiment, and therefore a fire alarm or an alarm cannot be reset by servicing personnel when the fire extinguisher is inserted. This has the advantage that specific minimum sizes of fire extinguishers, which can be prescribed on 35 site, can be set on the holder 1 by setting the spring strength of the spring 21, as shown in fig. 1. 3115555_1 (GHMatlers) P89486.AU WO 2011/000613 - 12 - PCT/EP2010/056046 Fig. 4 shows a schematic top view of a holder 2 according to a second embodiment. The holder 2 corresponds substantially to the design of the holder 1 5 shown in fig. 1. Identical parts are provided with the same reference symbols in the text which follows. However, instead of the contact switch 17, the holder 2 has a detection device 44 comprising a force pick-up 30 which, as a load cell 45, is connected to an evaluation 10 module 32 in the region of the registration device 40 which is shown in fig. 1. The force pick-up 30 comprises a measuring beam 31 which has a strain gauge 34 arranged on its lower face in order to register any deformation of the measuring beam 31 when it is 15 subjected to loading by the sliding carriage 18. Depending on the mass of the fire extinguisher which is arranged on the fastening device 16, the measuring beam 31 is deformed by the sliding carriage 18 situated on it. In the process, the evaluation module 32 registers 20 the deformation of the measuring beam 31 and ascertains the mass of the fire extinguisher which is arranged on the fastening device 16 from the deformation of the measuring beam 31. If the ascertained mass of the fire extinguisher which is fitted to the fastening device 16 25 does not correspond to the mass which is stored in a memory 33 of the evaluation module 32, the detection device 44 triggers the activation device 11 which is designed to activate a detector 43 and to trigger an alarm. In this case, the detection device 44 can 30 register both the removal of the fire extinguisher from the mounting position and an incorrectly fitted fire extinguisher. In this case, the detection device 44 is designed to trigger the activation device 11 which activates the detector 43 as a function of the 35 triggering. In this case, the detector 43 can output a fire alarm, a bomb alarm or a warning in respect of an 31155551 (GHMatters) P89468.AU WO 2011/000613 - 13 - PCT/EP2010/056046 incorrectly fitted fire extinguisher as a function of being triggered. The detector 43 comprises the loudspeaker 12 for outputting audible signals, a plurality of light-emitting elements 14 which are 5 arranged on the side of the housing 15, and also the antenna 22. The types of alarm triggered differ in respect of their manner of signalling, and therefore, in the embodiment with an incorrectly fitted fire extinguisher, a notification is sent to the central 10 fire alarm system via the antenna 22, without a signal being sent via the light-emitting elements 14 and the loudspeaker 12. A plurality of different masses corresponding to 15 different types of fire extinguisher are stored in the memory 33 of the evaluation module 32 of the detection device 44. When the holder 2 is mounted, trained personnel can unlock the detection device 44 for only individual types of fire extinguisher. This has the 20 advantage that only specific fire extinguishers which are prescribed for a standby location can be fitted to the holder 2 and this ensures that any fire which may break out in the region of the standby location of the fire extinguisher can be extinguished by the fire 25 extinguisher. Therefore, for example, fire extinguishers which are filled with water are not permitted to be used for extinguishing oil-containing substances. 30 If the mass of the fire extinguisher which is arranged on the fastening device 16 is stored in the memory 33 of the evaluation module 32, manipulation of the fire extinguisher, for example replacement of the filling in the fire extinguisher with an explosive, can be 35 identified by virtue of a different mass. The evaluation module 32 likewise registers partial 3115555.1 (GHMatters) P89468AU WO 2011/000613 - 14 - PCT/EP2010/056046 emptying of the fire extinguisher or removal of parts from the fire extinguisher in this way. Removal of the fire extinguisher can be detected by the 5 registration device by virtue of the loss of mass on the fastening device 16. In this case, the activation device 11 is designed to trigger a fire alarm when the fire extinguisher is removed, said fire alarm signalling a visual/audible signal via the light 10 emitting elements 14 and the loudspeaker 12 by means of the detector 43, with a central fire alarm being triggered by means of the antenna 22 and a message which is transmitted via said antenna. 15 As an alternative, the force pick-up is arranged on a fastening element of the fastening device 16. This has the advantage that the installation space required is reduced compared to the embodiment which is shown in fig. 4. Furthermore, the use of the rail system can be 20 dispensed with in this case. In addition, the registration device 40 can also be designed to register the removal speed of the fire extinguisher. In the event of theft of the fire 25 extinguisher, the thief, in order to appear less conspicuous, usually removes the fire extinguisher more gently and slowly than when the fire extinguisher is removed suddenly and quickly from the fastening device in the event of a fire. The activation device 11 is 30 designed to compare the removal speed with a threshold value and to trigger a theft alarm, for example, when the threshold value is undershot and to trigger a fire alarm when the threshold value is exceeded. In this case, the theft alarm can be distinguished from the 35 fire alarm by, for example, a silent alarm without activation of the visual/audible signals but with a 31155S5_1 (GHMatters) P89468.AU WO 2011/000613 - 15 - PCT/EP2010/056046 theft alarm to the central fire alarm system or another device being triggered, for example, to make it easier to catch the thief. 5 Fig. 5 shows a schematic view of a circuit diagram according to the first embodiment of the holder 1 as shown in fig. 1 to fig. 3. An activation device 100 is connected to a detection device 111. The detection device 111 is part of the registration device 40 which 10 is shown in fig. 1 in this case. The activation device 100 is supplied with power by a voltage supply 107, for example of a battery or a mains connection. The voltage supply 107 can be interrupted by means of a key operated switch 106. Furthermore, the activation device 15 100 is connected to an antenna 101, a fire detector 104 and a smoke detector 109. The activation device 100 also has a test switch 112 in order to test the operability of the activation device 100 during servicing. The fire detector 104 has a light-emitting 20 element 103 and a loudspeaker 102 and is connected to the antenna 101. The detection device 111 comprises a contact switch 113 which is designed to change its switching state when 25 the sliding carriage which is shown in fig. 1 makes contact with it. The activation device 100 is designed to identify a change in the switching state of the contact switch 113 30 of the detection device 111 and, in the event of a change in the switching state which corresponds to removal of the fire extinguisher from the fastening device which is shown in fig. 1, to activate the fire detector 104 via a first connection 105. The situation 35 of the contact switch 113 being depressed by the fire extinguisher in the mounting position is symbolized by 3115555_1 (GHMatters) P8948.AU WO 2011/000613 - 16 - PCT/EP2010/056046 an arrow in fig. 5. The test switch 112 of the activation device 100 is designed to simulate the change in the switching signal of the detection device 111. In this way, the operability of the activation 5 device 100 can be tested by trained personnel during servicing processes. Furthermore, the activation device 100 is designed to receive a signal via the antenna 101. Information about 10 a fire alarm can be transmitted by means of the signal. This has the advantage that the activation device 100 can be activated in the event of a central fire alarm having been triggered at another fire detector. In this case, the activation unit 100 is designed to activate 15 the fire detector 104 in this case too in order to make it easier to find the fire extinguisher or to inform the people in the surrounding area of a fire alarm. In this embodiment, the activation device 100 is connected to the smoke detector 109 via a second connection 110. 20 As shown in fig. 1, the smoke detector 109 can be arranged in the housing of the holder. However, it can also be arranged, for example, in the ceiling region or in a region which is at risk of fire in order to detect smoke or fire at an early stage. In the event of 25 detection, the smoke detector 109 is designed to send a signal via the second connection 110 of the activation device 100, with the result that the activation device 100 activates the fire detector 104. This has the advantage that it is easier to find the fire 30 extinguisher in the event of a fire like in the case of activation by means of an external signal via the antenna 101. The fire detector 104 is designed to inform people in 35 the vicinity of the holder about the fire alarm as clearly as possible in the event of a fire alarm. In 3115555_1 (GHMatters) P8948.AU WO 2011/000613 - 17 - PCT/EP2010/056046 this embodiment, this is achieved by way of a loud audible signal which is emitted by the loudspeaker 102. Furthermore, the people can be informed about the fire alarm by means of the light-emitting element 103. In 5 the event of smoke being formed in a room, or in the dark, the loudspeaker 102, which is arranged in the holder, and the light-emitting elements 103 make it easier to find the fire extinguisher. This has the advantage that a person in the room can begin to fight 10 the fire at an early stage, before the fire department can begin to fight the fire. The fire detector 104 is also connected to the antenna 101. The detector 104 can send a signal and/or a message to a mobile telephone and/or a central fire alarm system via the antenna 101, 15 it also being possible, however, for the fire detector 104 to be connected to a fire alarm device by wires. Fig. 6 shows a schematic circuit diagram according to the second embodiment of the holder 2 which is shown in 20 fig. 4. The circuit diagram corresponds substantially to the circuit diagram of the holder 1 which is shown in fig. 5 and identical parts are denoted by the same reference symbols. However, in the embodiment shown, the detection device 111 has a force pick-up 115 which, 25 instead of the contact switch 113 which is shown in fig. 5, is designed to ascertain the mass of the fire extinguisher which is fitted to the fastening device. Furthermore, a detector 117, instead of the fire detector 104, is designed to output different types of 30 alarms. The mass of the fire extinguisher is symbolized in fig. 6 by means of the arrow. The force pick-up 115 is read by an evaluation module 116 in order to ascertain the mass of the fire 35 extinguisher which is in the mounting position. Suitable force pick-ups 115 include, in particular, 3115555_1 (GHMatters) P89488 AU WO 2011/000613 - 18 - PCT/EP2010/056046 load cells which have, for example, a strain gauge which is designed to indicate deformations which result from a change in the mass of the fire extinguisher on the fastening device. This has the advantage that, as 5 shown in fig. 5, both a fire alarm is triggered in the event of a change in the switching state of the contact switch 113 and also the evaluation module 116 ascertains information about the type of fire extinguisher from the mass of the fire extinguisher 10 which is in the mounting position. This has the advantage that the activation device 100 activates the detector 117 if the fire extinguisher does not correspond to a prespecified type, for example a water fire extinguisher must not be used to extinguish 15 combustible liquids such as oils. To this end, when the holder 2 is mounted, it is set for types of fire extinguisher which are required for a standby location. In addition, in this case, the activation device 100 is 20 designed to send different signals to the detector 117 depending on the changes in weight which are registered by the evaluation module 116. In this way, manipulation of the fire extinguisher can also be registered in addition to removal of the fire extinguisher and 25 triggering of a fire alarm. The detector 117 is designed to send, depending on triggering by the activation device 100, a fire alarm, a bomb alarm or a notification of the fire extinguisher being incorrectly mounted to a central fire alarm system via the antenna 30 101 or to set off a visual and/or audible signal in the event of a fire alarm or a bomb alarm. 3115555_1 (GHMatters) P89466AU
