Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an extinguisher arranged on the outside of an apartment- house from being carried out due to burglary or mischief and being useless at the occurance of a fire. SOLUTION: A disc 2 capable of generating displacement due to the weight of a loaded extinguisher and a limit switch 3 for detecting the displacement of the disc 2 are loaded on an extinguisher setting board 1. When the extinguisher is set on the board 1 and then removed from the state of disc 2 depressed by the weight of the extinguisher, the disc 2 is raised and restored to the original position, so that the limit switch 3 is driven. A signal from the switch 3 is sent to an information board and a bell is rung, so that peripheral residents are informed of the removal of the extinguisher.
