DESCRIPTION
3 Scope of the Invention S The Four in One Baby Pot Pan relates to cookware. Cookware are types of cooking vessels, commonly found in the kitchen such as saucepans, frying pans and pots, etc intended for use on a stove or range cooktop.
The problem with existing cookware such as frypans, saucepans, pots, etc O is that in order to fry, boil, cook and sear etc eg: four separate foods, today the user must use four separate cooking vessels on four separate hot plates S or heating elements on a stove or cooktop.
The Four in Baby One Pot Pan resolves the above mentioned problem. The Four in One Baby Pot Pan will be described hereinafter with reference to this application.
The Four in One Baby Pot Pan in accordance with its present innovation can be envisaged as a more practical, economical, time saving and energy !0 saving alternative to the common frying pans, saucepans, pots and other cooking vessels, imparticularly it is ideal for making food for a baby or a single person, where four types of different food can be fried, cooked, seared and boiled, etc at the same time by using only one hot plate or heating element on a stove or range cooktop.
Description of Related Art A frying pan (frypan) is: A cooking vessel (pan) with a handle used for frying, searing, and browning foods. It is typically 20 to 30 cm in diameter flat pan with flared sides.
Saucepans and Pots are: Cooking vessels with vertical sides about the same height as their diameter, used for simmering or boiling foods. Saucepans generally have one long handle. Larger pots of the same shape generally have two handles close to the sides of the pot (so they can be lifted with both hands).
SDescription of the Innovation The Four in One Baby Pot Pan relates to the successful combination of four independent cooking vessels and an inventive holding device, into one cooking unit to be used on one plate or heating element of a stove 0 or range cooktop.
O 10 The inventive holding device has a cylindrical shape with open ends (top and bottom) comprising of a handle and four locking positions located on the top edge circumference ,spaced out at 90 degrees from one another.
SThe inventive holding device has a function to embrace, hold and lock four cooking vessels thus creating the Four in One Baby Pot Pan.
When placing cooking vessel one into the inventive holding device, there are four available locking positions to chose from.
When placing cooking vessel two into the inventive holding device with ?0 one cooking vessel already inserted, there are three available locking positions to chose from.
When placing cooking vessel three into the inventive holding device with two other cooking vessels already inserted, there are two available locking positions to chose from.
When placing cooking vessel four into the inventive holding device with three other cooking vessels already inserted, there will be only one locking position available.
The inventive holding device can function with one, two ,three or four cooking vessels inserted at any one time.
The inventive holding device is designed to allow all four independent cooking vessels to lock into the left or lock into the right from the centerline of the locking position (rotational tolerance of 45 degrees) to any of the four handles in order to enable multiple positioning of the independant cooking vessel handles which enables almost any positioning of the cooking unit on the stove or range cooktop without the handles of the independant cooking vessels imposing limitations in regards to space and to where the cooking unit can be placed on the stove or range cooktop.
The independent cooking vessel one is a cylindrical vessel comprising of a handle and lid, having a flat bottom and open top with a height smaller then the diameter of the width.
The independent cooking vessel two is a cylindrical vessel comprising of a handle and lid, having a flat bottom and open top with a height slightly Ssmaller than the diameter of the width.
SThe independent cooking vessel three is a cylindrical vessel comprising 0 oof a handle and lid, having a flat bottom and open top with a height equal to the diameter of the width.
c The independent cooking vessel four is a cylindrical vessel comprising of a handle and lid, having a flat bottom and open top with a height higher C 5 than the diameter of the width.
6 SDetailed Description of Prefered Embodyment Preferred embodiments of the invention include a Four in One Baby Pot Pan cooking unit comprising of an inventive holding device with handle and four locking positions and located on the top IN edge circumference of the cylindrical part of the holding device spaced out
(N
C at 90 degrees from one another, used for accommodating four independant S0 cooking vessels by locking them into any one of the four locking positions and at any one time, the four independent cooking vessels include independent cooking vessel one with cylindrical shape and flat bottom with handle and lid and a height smaller than the diameter S of the width, and independant cooking vessel two (10) with a cylindrical shape and flat bottom with handle (11) and lid (12) and a height slightly smaller than the diameter of the width, and independant cooking vessel three (13) with a cylindrical shape and flat bottom with a handle (14) and lid (15) and a height equal to the diameter of the width, and independant cooking vessel four (16) with a cylindrical shape and flat bottom with a !0 handle (17) and lid (18) and a height higher than the diameter of the width, the independent cooking vessels are also designed to be used individually without the inventive holding device, as independent cooking vessels.
The Four in One Baby Pot Pan may be made of conventional cooking vessel materials including but not limited to: Stainless steel, Cast Iron, Aluminum, Carbon Steel, Copper etc, or any of the following combinations: stainless steel with aluminum disk, stainless steel with copper disk, aluminum with stainless steel lining and copper exterior, aluminum fully clad by stainless steel, copper fully clad by stainless steel, cast Iron with enamel, aluminum with stainless steel lining, copper with stainless steel lining, copper with thin lining or any of the conventional cooking vessel materials combined.
The handle and knobs of the lids may be made of plastic or other suitable heat resistant materials.
The Four in One Baby Pot Pan does not limit itself to the above mentioned.
A wide range of changes and modifications of the embodiments of the invention described above will be apparent to persons skilled in the art and are not to be constructed as imposing limitations on the invention, but are included merely to illustrate preferred embodiments.
