Patents Act 1990 COMPLETE SPECIFICATION INNOVATION PATENT 0 5 APR 2005 Euroaluminium Outward Open Sash E3130 The following statement is a full description of this invention, including the best method of performing it known to me: Euroaluminium Outward Open Sash E3130 0 European style aluminium window systems have in the past had drawbacks in design that required many different profiles to be used for the same or similar 0 purpose and many different accessories required to be used with each profile.
SThis resulted in greater expense to manufacture the many different profiles and to purchase so many different accessories for the window systems. In addition C the manufacturing process was tedious and time intensive resulting in increased c- labour costs.
This invention has been specifically devised in order to provide an improved European style window aluminium system that is simpler and less time intensive to manufacture and that is more cost effective by requiring less profiles to construct window systems.
Euroaluminium Outward Open Sash is used to construct an outward opening window. It is 46.7mm wide and 71.4mm high. It comprises a T shape with allowance for various adaptors (meaning it can be clipped together with other sections to make a complete window frame). Mass 0.952kg/m. Perimeter (P) 348mm. Paint Perimeter (PP) 98.9mm. Moments of inertia (JX/JY) X=8.87cm(4)Y=10.40cm(4).
The extruded aluminium sections are made from homogenised alloy billets with limited composition tolerances, suitable for anodising or painting. The Euroaluminium Outward Open Sash E3130 is made from aluminium and could not be made from any other materials.
i 3 In order to create a profile, using the dimensioned drawing with a tolerance of 0.1 or 0.05, a die must be created and the aluminium is then extruded.
l n Extrusion is defined as the process of shaping material, such as aluminum, by forcing it to flow through a shaped opening in a die. Extruded material emerges oo as an elongated piece with the same profile as the die opening.
The invention may be better understood with reference to the drawing that is In attached and titled E3130 and labeled Fig. 1A D.
Claims (1)
1. Euroaluminium Outward Open Sash E3130 comprising a T shape oo construction that is 46.7mm wide and 71.4mm high with allowance for various adaptors allowing it to be clipped together with other sections of Saluminium to make a complete window frame.
