Patents Act 1990 COMPLETE SPECIFICATION INNOVATION PATENT IP Ausirana 0 5 APR 2005 Euroaluminium Thermal Break Frame (No Chamber) E4101 The following statement is a full description of this invention, including the best method of performing it known to me: Euroaluminium Thermal Break Frame (No Chamber) E4101 European style aluminium window systems have in the past had drawbacks in design that required many different profiles to be used for the same or similar purpose and many different accessories required to be used with each profile.
This resulted in greater expense to manufacture the many different profiles and to purchase so many different accessories for the window systems. In addition the manufacturing process was tedious and time intensive resulting in increased labour costs.
This invention has been specifically devised in order to provide an improved European style window aluminium system that is simpler and less time intensive to manufacture and that is more cost effective by requiring less profiles to construct window systems.
Euroaluminium Thermal Break Frame (No Chamber) E4101 comprises a thermal break compact slim line frame profile which insulates from transfer of thermal and acoustic energy. Thermal break is obtained by inserting small reinforced polyamide bars which are mechanically hooked to aluminium knurled extruded sections. It is 45mm wide, 33.7mm high. It is a L shape with allowance for various Adaptors (meaning it can be clipped together with other sections to make a complete window frame). Mass 0.598kg/m. Perimeter 239mm. Paint Perimeter (PP) 44.2mm. Moments of inertia (JX/JY) X 0.94cm(4)Y 3.74cm(4).
The extruded aluminium sections are made from homogenised alloy billets with limited composition tolerances, suitable for anodising or painting. The Euroaluminium Thermal Break Frame (No Chamber) E4101 is made from aluminium and could not be made from any other materials.
3 In order to create a profile, using the dimensioned drawing with a tolerance of 0.1 or 0.05, a die must be created and the aluminium is then extruded.
Extrusion is defined as the process of shaping material, such as aluminum, by forcing it to flow through a shaped opening in a die. Extruded material emerges as an elongated piece with the same profile as the die opening.
The invention may be better understood with reference to the drawing that is attached and titled E4101 and labeled Fig. 1A F.

1. Euroaluminium Thermal Break Frame (No Chamber) E4101 comprising a L shaped compact slim line frame profile that is It is 45mm wide and
33.7mm high with thermal break which is achieved by inserting small reinforced polyamide bars that are mechanically hooked to aluminium knurled extruded sections and it has allowance for various adaptors allowing it to be clipped together with other sections of aluminium to make a complete window frame. 2. Euroaluminium Thermal Break Frame (No Chamber) E4101 substantially as hereinbefore described with reference to the drawing that is attached and titled E4101 and labeled Fig 1A F.
