1 AUSTRALIA Patents Act 1990 COMPLETE SPECIFICATION INNOVATION PATENT Euroaluminium Commercial Pocketed Infill S02 The following statement is a full description of this invention, including the best method of performing it known to me: 1 Euroaluminium T M Commercial Pocketed Infill S02 Currently, in Australia, there are no commercial "thermal break" window products available and this makes it difficult to comply with the increased energy performance regulations. This invention has been specifically designed in order to overcome this problem by greatly reducing the conductivity of the frame. This invention gives high performance results whilst having the added benefit of being easy to use for manufacturers. The Euroaluminium TM Commercial Pocketed Infill S02 is comprised of a frame profile that is 104.2mm wide and 32.7mm high. It has a U shaped construction and is used as an adaptor mating with profile SO1 and S03 so that it can be clipped into other sections to make a complete window frame. Mass = 1.130kg/m. Perimeter (P) = 474mm. Paint Perimeter (PP) = 59.5mm. Moments of inertia (JX/JY) - X = 4.3cm (to the power of 4) Y = 35.23cm(4). The EuroaluminiumTM Commercial Pocketed Infill S02 can be used to make fixed panels, window frames and door frames. The extruded aluminium sections are made from homogenised alloy billets with limited composition tolerances, suitable for anodising or painting. The EuroaluminiumTM Commercial Pocketed Infill S02 is made from aluminium and could not be made from any other materials.
2 In order to create a profile, using the dimensioned drawing with a tolerance of + 0.1 or - 0.05, a die must be created and the aluminium is then extruded. Extrusion is defined as the process of shaping material, such as aluminium, by forcing it to flow through a shaped opening in a die. Extruded material emerges as an elongated piece with the same profile as the die opening. The invention may be better understood with reference to the drawing that is attached and titled SO2A and also FIG.SO2.

Claims (2)

1. The Euroaluminium TM Commercial Pocketed Infill S02 is comprised of a frame profile that is 104.2mm wide and 32.7mm high. It has a U shaped construction and is used as an adaptor mating with profile S01 and S03 so that it can be clipped into other sections to make a complete window frame.
