Abstract

1. Double stroke open shed jacquard machine with lifters which have three projections, are guided with play at at least one stationary screen, arranged between the lifting griffs, which do not intersect one another, and are supported in their lower shed position on the lifter base, wherein one lifting griff box, preferably the lower one, is guided in the contact region of the lifters such that it moves laterally, characterized in that the lifters (1) are constructed with one arm, are secured against rotation about their axis and their projections (2, 3), associated with the lifting griffs (6, 7) are directed towards opposite sides, the lifters (1) being supported in the impressing direction of the needles, on the screen (9) disposed between the lifting griffs (6, 7) whilst avoiding a further screen arranged below the lifting griffs (6, 7) and an additional screen (12) being provided above the open shed position of the upper lifting griff (6).
