Abstract
A portable test-lever (45) has a load-arm and a force-arm (49) and a variably fixable support (46). An angle-point is arranged between the load-arm and the force-arm (49). The test-lever (45) is supported via the support (46) when a force (53) is applied to the lever and to at least one tested elevator cable for verifying an operating capability and/or a cable movement of at least one elevator cable (51). The variable support (46) can be fixed with variable spacing from the fixed-point (52) on the elevator. An independent claim is included for a method for installing a portable test-lever and for establishing the operating capability.
