Abstract

The air-conditioning device has an internal module with a first heat exchanger located within the air-conditioned room and coupled via electrical and refrigeration medium lines with an external module on the outside of the air-conditioned room, provided with a fan for directing an air flow across a second heat exchanger. The external module has a base (19) below the fan blades (15) for collection of condensate water, provided with a drainage opening and a heating element (35) operated by an associated control (36) coupled to an external temperature sensor (38), for heating the base to prevent freezing of the condensate water.
