2. Description of the Related Art A separation type air conditioner composed of an indoor unit and an outdoor unit is often used. Particularly, in the outdoor unit, a compressor, an outdoor heat exchanger, a blower, and the like are placed and fixed on a bottom plate that constitutes a unit body that is a housing.

The bottom plate has a rectangular shape in plan view, and fixing legs are provided at four corners. The above-mentioned fixing leg is placed on a portion to be installed which is an installation site, and is fixed by using a fixing fixture (fixing bolt).

The fixing leg is manufactured as a separate part from the bottom plate, and one end of the fixing leg is fixedly mounted on the back side of the bottom plate by appropriately selecting means such as welding, screwing, riveting or crimping. The other end extends outward from the bottom plate and serves as a fixing portion by the above-mentioned mounting fixture.

However, if welding means such as spot welding is used to attach the bottom plate of the fixing leg, the coating for preventing corrosion of the metal plate will be incinerated and removed as it is. Therefore, it is necessary to paint after welding to prevent the generation of rust, which is rather time-consuming.

[0006] Recently, a coated steel sheet obtained by coating a hot-dip galvanized steel sheet having excellent workability and durability, and a hot-dip aluminum-zinc alloy-plated steel sheet (eg Galvalume steel sheet: trade name) have been adopted. However, these steel sheets cannot be welded.

Therefore, on the premise that the above steel plate is used, a technique for attaching and fixing the fixing leg to the bottom plate using a means other than welding, such as screwing, riveting, and crimping, has come to be adopted. (Example: JP-A-11-337
However, according to such means, the number of mounting steps is increased, which adversely affects the cost. Further, if the fixing leg comes into contact with a wall or the like during installation of the outdoor unit, the fixing leg may be twisted depending on the degree of impact, or may fall off from the bottom plate in extreme cases, resulting in low mounting reliability.

On the other hand, when fixing the mounting leg of the compressor to the bottom plate, for example, the head of the mounting bolt is mounted on the bottom plate by an appropriate means so that the threaded portion of the bolt is projected upward, and the threaded portion of the mounting bolt is attached. The hole of the anti-vibration rubber attached to the compressor mounting leg was inserted into the rod through the rod, the screw part of the bolt was projected from the upper end of the anti-vibration rubber, and the nut was screwed to the protruding screw part. (Example: JP-A-11-2107
In this case, there is no need to paint because welding is not performed, but it takes time and effort to fix the head of the mounting bolt to the bottom plate in advance. When actually installing the compressor, the compressor with the anti-vibration rubber attached to the installation leg is lowered from above, and the hole of the anti-vibration rubber and the installation bolt are fitted together, but the installation bolt is blocked by the installation leg. It is hard to see and therefore difficult to match.

If the mounting legs come into contact with the mounting bolts because the positions of the mounting holes are not aligned, the compressor itself has a considerable weight, and the vibration isolating rubber and the mounting bolts may be deformed as well as the mounting legs. That is, here also, the assembly workability is poor, and improvement is required.

In many cases, drain water is generated in the outdoor heat exchanger during the refrigeration cycle operation and flows down to collect on the bottom plate. Alternatively, the surface of the suction side pipe connected to the compressor, the suction cup, or the connection valve may be condensed to form drain water and flow down.

The conventional bottom plate has a flat cross section over the entire surface, and the height of the portion on which the outdoor heat exchanger is placed and the height of the portion on which the compressor is placed are the same. A partition plate is interposed between the outdoor heat exchanger and the compressor to prevent heat exchange with each other, but drain water flowing down from the outdoor heat exchanger collects near this mounting part and eventually It will penetrate into the compressor mounting side from between the partition plate and the bottom plate.

Further, the suction side pipe, the suction cup,
Condensation water (drain water) that has condensed on the surface of the connection valve flows down and collects on and around the mounting portion of the compressor. The machine room where the compressor is placed contains electric parts for driving the compressor that are electrically connected to the compressor and electric parts for controlling the compressor and for controlling four-way valve switching. It is adversely affected by the water accumulated in the storage part.
