Abstract

1. An electric heating device for ranges or cooking plates, wherein a heat-resistant heater-filament holder (1) is arranged beneath a glass-ceramic plate transmissive to heat radiation, said beater-filament holder having grooves (2) within which an electric heater filament (7) is fixed by means of an adhesive (6), characterized in that the adhesive (6) has been coated continuously along the entire groove-bottom and has a heat-conductivity such that the heat is conducted to the raised portions of the heater-filament holder (1) which are located between the grooves (2), and the temperature of the heater-filament (7) is thereby lowered by at least 50 degrees C.
