Abstract

Disclosed is a cleansing tool, or rather the fitting of a cleansing tool, consisting of an assembly of absorbent mixed threads and of brushing elements (4, 9) with a stronger cleansing capacity. The brushing elements consist of plastic monofilaments (4, 9), the length, the flexural rigidity and the density of which are such that, when exerting a normal force, the ends scrape, at least partly, mainly through their tips, by the surfaces to be cleaned, i.e they do not touch said surfaces with a segment of their length. The surface of said monofilaments must also have a structure allowing for them to be used more efficiently in the various bending positions and enabling scraping in such positions.
