Abstract

The invention relates to a plate heat exchanger for media conducted in counterflow, consisting of shape-embossed individual plates (1) which are connected to one another to produce a pair (P) of plates forming a flow duct for one medium and which for their part are connected to produce a plate stack (S) and in each case form between themselves a flow duct for the other medium. The supply and discharge cross-sections of each duct are diagonally offset with respect to one another in the longitudinal direction of the plate.
