Die Ziegel gemäss dem Stammpatent haben den Nachteil, dass die Nasen oder Klauen, welche in Unterschneidungen der Latten eingreifen, leicht abbrechen. Das Hauptmerkmal der Erfindung besteht nun darin, dass dieZiegel mit besonders geformten Ausnehmungen versehen sind, in welche nicht zerbreehliche Befestigune : shaken. die verschieden geformt werden können, eingesetzt werden.
Fig. 1 der Zeichnung zeigt eine Ausffihrungsform der Daehdeckung nach der Erfindung im Schnitt, Fig. 2 einen Dachziegel in Druntersicht und Fig. 3 und 4 eine andere Ausführungsform des Dachziegels in Seitenansicht und Druntersieht. Bei der Ausführungsform nach Fig. 1 und 2 besitzt der Dachziegel 1 an jenem Ende, das auf die niichstuntere Latte 2 zu liegen kommt, auf der Unterseite eine Nut 3, deren Querwand einen zur Zirgelfläehe parallelen Schlitz 4 besitzt. In diesen Schlitz wird ein Schenkel der Z-förmig oder hakenförmig gebogenen Klaue 5. die aus Eisenblech oder Draht hergestellt sein kann, eingeschoben.
