Falzziegel.
Der vorliegende Falzziegel soll durch die bekannte stufenlose Cberkappung der einzelnen Ziegel und durch die neuartige Anordnung von Mörtelrinnen mit schrägen Nagellöchern und in die Rinnen eingreifende Zapfen des übergelagerten Ziegels die Herstellung einer ebenen, starren Dachfläche ermöglichen.
Die Fig. 1 zeigt eine Draufsicht des Ziegels, die Fig. 2 bis 4 Schnitte nach den Linien A-B bzw. C-D und E-F der Fig. 1. Die Fig. 5 und 6 zeigen eine perspektivische Ansicht des Daches und eine Schnittfigur hiezu.
In dem vertieften Teil b des Ziegels sind auf der Oberseite zwei Ausnehmungen 6 mit den schrägen Nagellöchern 7 und in dem Teil a auf der Unterseite zwei Zapfen 3 vorgesehen. Wenn der Ziegel auf der Dachlatte verlegt ist, so dass die Unterkante der Kröpfung auf die Oberkante der Latte liegt, wird der Befestigungsnagel durch das Nagelloch 7 nur zum Teil eingeschlagen und der herausstehende Teil in die Vertiefung 6 niedergeklopft. Hierauf wird die Vertiefung mit Mörtel ausgefüllt. Der übergelagerte Ziegel greift mit seinen Zapfen 3 in die mit Mörtel gefüllten Vertiefungen 6 ein und auf diese Weise entsteht eine innige Verbindung der Dachziegel untereinander. Der Querschnitt der Vertiefungen 6 und der Zapfen 3 kann rechtwinklig oder keilförmig sein.
Der Ziegel besitzt ferner auf der einen Seite eine Randleiste 1 und in deren Verlängerung im vertieften Teil des Ziegels eine Aussparung 4. Auf der andern Seite des Ziegels ist eine Hohlleiste 2 angeordnet und in der Verlängerung anschliessend daran die Deckleiste 5. Die Fig. 5 und 6 zeigen das Ineinandergreifen der Teile des Dachziegels.
Der Dachziegel wird aus gebranntem Lehm, Ton, Beton oder aus irgendeinem geeigneten Material hergestellt.

Interlocking tiles.
The present interlocking tile should enable the production of a flat, rigid roof surface through the well-known stepless capping of the individual tiles and through the novel arrangement of mortar channels with inclined nail holes and pegs of the overlying tile that engage in the channels.

In the recessed part b of the brick, two recesses 6 with the oblique nail holes 7 are provided on the top and two pegs 3 are provided in part a on the bottom. When the tile is laid on the roof batten so that the lower edge of the crank is on the upper edge of the batten, the fastening nail is only partially driven through the nail hole 7 and the protruding part is knocked down into the recess 6. The recess is then filled with mortar. The superimposed brick engages with its pin 3 in the grout-filled depressions 6 and in this way an intimate connection between the roof tiles is created. The cross section of the recesses 6 and the pin 3 can be rectangular or wedge-shaped.
The brick also has an edge strip 1 on one side and a recess 4 in its extension in the recessed part of the tile. On the other side of the brick, a hollow strip 2 is arranged and, in the extension, the cover strip 5. FIGS 6 show the interlocking of the parts of the roof tile.
The roof tile is made of baked clay, clay, concrete, or any suitable material.
