Description

Clip for attaching slate panels to DacMats.
The invention relates to a new type of wire clip for holding the slates on the slats of the roof truss. Fastening hooks which encompass the roof batten with one end and the slate with the other end are known.
The invention consists in that on a U-shaped part serving to encompass the roof batten, a right-angled extension is arranged, one arm of this extension being inserted through a hole provided in the slate and the other arm the slate directly against the Roof batten presses ..
In the drawing, FIG. 1 shows the clip according to the invention in its natural size, FIG. 2 shows a slate covering in section when the clip is used. The U-shaped part Ce, d, e) comprises the roof batten, while the projection (a, b) bent at right angles holds the slate firmly and down. From Fig. 2 it can also be seen that the attached slate (il is pressed directly to the lath through the shoulder (a, b), the upper end of the previously covered slate 111 being held. The leg (a), which the slate presses down and thereby prevents the slate from being thrown up by the weather, is covered by the next slab (11).
3 and 4 show the position of the bracket with different types of coverage.
The advantages over the known slate hoes are in particular in the storm-proof holding of the slate slabs, in the prevention of any throwing up of the slabs; In the case of uneven battens or bends in the roof, the slate is pressed against the battens and the brackets are prevented from bending open due to tendon wear.
