   Es sind Putzmittel aus Mischungen von geschlemmtem Ton und organischen oder anorganischen Säuren bereits bekannt gewesen ; es ist aber noch nicht gefunden worden, dass Putzmittel, welche gleichzeitig Essig und Salzsäure enthalten, besondere Reinigungswirkung auf Metalle (ausser Silber), Polituren, Glas usw. ausüben, ohne hiebei die behandelte Fläche zu schädigen. 



   Das den Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung bildende Mittel wird in folgender Weise hergestellt : 1 Liter verdünnte Essigsäure (Essig) wird erst mit 50 cm3 Salzsäure und dann mit 1 kg fein gemahlener Tonerde oder Pfeifenton vermengt. Diese Mischung wird in Flaschen gefüllt.
