Bei dem Zusammenschmelzen des Pumpstengels mit dem Hals der zur Regenerierung geöffneten elektrischen Glühlampen hat sich der Ubelstand gezeigt, dass der beim Zusammenschmelzen entstehende Glaswulst. abgesehen von dem unschönen Aussehen, durch die ungleiche Stärke des Glases Spannungen verursachte, welche Springe im Glas und infolgedessen Undichtigkeiten hervorriefen.
Dieser Übelstand wird durch die im nachfolgenden beschriebene Erfindung beseitigt. Dabei wird ein in bekannter Weise an seinem Ende erweiterter Pumpstengel verwendet. der gemäss der Erfindung derart an die stutzenarige Öffnung der Glasbirne angeschmclzen wird. dass der durch das Zusammen-
