Die den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildende Vorrichtung dicnt dazu, um Musikern, Sängern und Rednern bei Übungen eine genaue Kontrolle der Tonstärke und Tonhöhe bzw. Aussprache dadurch zu gestatten, dass die vom Ursprungsort direkt ausgehenden Schallwellen nicht zum Ohr gelangen können, sondern das Ohr nur reflektierte Schallwellen aufnimmt.
Dies wird gemäss der Erfindung dadurch erreicht, dass an beiden Ohren möglichst dicht anschliessende, durch einen Stahlbügel verbundene Schalltrichter angebracht werden, die so (entweder nach rückwärts oder aufwärts) gerichtet sind, dass sie nur die von den Wänden reflektierten Schallwellen aufnehmen.
Dies kann entweder so durchgeführt werden, dass die Schalltrichter seitliche Öffnungen besitzen, in welche die Ohrmuschel passt-hiebei können die Trichter vollkommen geschlossen oder halb offen sein Es können aber auch die Trichter nicht direkt das Ohr überdecken, sondern an einem über das Ohr gestülpten, dosenförmigen Gehäuse, welches überdies noch durch eine Filz-, Samt-oder Tuchdichtung gegen aussen schalldicht abgedeckt ist, aufwärts oder rückwärts angeordnet sein, wobei in diesem Falle diese beiden dosenförmigen Gehäuse gleichfalls durch den das Anliegen am Kopfe bewirkenden Federbügel verbunden sind.
