Akustische Vorrichtung.
Fig. 1 zeigt die Rück-

Acoustic device.
The invention relates to the acoustic device for reproducing or generating sound vibrations according to Patent No. 102189 and has the purpose of providing a simple, strong and effective construction and mounting for the conical membrane of this device.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the invention is illustrated. Fig. 1 shows the rear
EMI1.1
in the side view and Fig. 3 a part of the receiver illl cross section.
The main diaphragm 5 is conical and consists of some light elastic
EMI1.2
which is advantageously made of the same material as the membrane 5. The Krgelstutzmclllbrane (j serves as a support for the conical membrane 5 and cooperates with it to reproduce the sound vibrations. The two membranes 5 and 6 are advantageously connected to each other at their base by means of an aluminum ring 7 with a U-shaped cross section, which is placed on the edges of the is tightly drawn on both membranes, as shown in Fig. 3. This ring not only serves as a simple and effective means of clamping the two membranes together and of stiffening their edges, but also provides mechanical protection for the membrane.
At the edge of the narrower cone socket end, a second ring 8 is clamped, which serves to stiffen the membrane 6 and as an aid to the Monticien.
The double membrane is held by a stand 9 on which a cast metal ring 10 is mounted. The conical section is fastened to this support ring 10 by means of bolts 11. In order to prevent rattling, the metal ring 8 is kept out of contact with the support ring 10 for the greater part of its circumference, and this is achieved in the illustrated embodiment by means of spacers 15 which are provided at each bolt hole.
EMI1.3
is, which transmits vibrations to this membrane by means of a rod 14 connected to the tip of the cone membrane. The actuating device 13 can be any known electromagnetically acting device.
EMI1.4
however, it is easily applicable to other devices such as phonographic reproducing (or recording) devices, only the corresponding actuating devices having to be installed.
