Manschettenknopf.
Die Erfindung betrifft eine besondere Ausgestaltung jener bekannten Manschettenknöpfe, bei denen zwei Knöpfe durch ein an einem derselben beweglich befestigtes Drahtglied verbunden sind und besteht darin, dass das Drahtglied die Gestalt eines in die Öse des anderen Kopfes einhängbaren offenen Biigels besitzt, dessen frei gegeneinander gebogene Enden den zweiten Knopf bilden.
Die Zeichnung zeigt mehrere Ausfühnmgsformen des Manschettenknopfes gemäss der Erfindung.
Abb. 1 stellt den aus Draht durch Biegung hergestellten Knopf in Verbindung mit einem mit Öse ver- sehenen Knopf dar, während Abb. 2 zwei miteinander in Eingriff stehende Drahtknöpfe veranschaulicht.
Abb. 3 und 4 zeigen die Knöpfe nach Abb. 1 und 2 in Verbindung mit einer Manschette. Abb. 5 zeigt verschiedene Ausbildungen des Knopfes.
Gemäss der Erfindung besteht das Drahtglied aus einem einzigen Drahtstück, das durch einen
Bügel a mit den Enden b, b gebildet wird. Die Enden b, b bilden den zweiten Kopf des Knopfes (vgl.
Abb. 1 und 2). Dieser Kopf bildet gleichzeitig eine Verzierung und kann gemäss Abb. 5 in verschiedener
Weise gestaltet sein.
Soll der Drahtkopf in Verbindung mit einem Ösenkopf c nach Abb. 1 und 3 verwendet werden, so wird die Öse des Kopfes e von der einen Seite durch beide, neben einandergelegte Knopflöcher der
Manschette gesteckt, so dass die Öse aus dem mit dem Kopf des Knopfes nicht in Berührung stehenden
Knopfloch austritt. Nunmehr wild das eine der Enden b des Drahtstückes durch die Öse des Kopfes'c gesteckt und der Drahtkopf wird so lange gedreht, bis der Bügel a in der Öse des Kopfes c liegt, worauf der Kopf c nach rückwärts gezogen und der Bügel a auf die innere Seite der Manschette, also dorthin gebracht wird. wo die üblichen Verbindungsglieder zu liegen pflegen.
Im Falle der-gemeinsamen Verwendung zweier Drahtbügel nach Abb. 2 und 4 geschieht das Ein- ziehen des Knopfes in derselben Weise, nur tritt an die Stelle der Knopf Öse der Bügel des einen Draht- stückes. Das innere Ende der Bügel a ist dabei zweckmässig im Winkel zur Ebene des Bügels abgebogen (Abb. 2), wodurch ein besserer Sitz des Knopfes auf der der Manschette erreicht wird.
Durch wechselnde Ausbildung der Köpfe (Abb. 5) können mannigfaltige, gut aussehende Knöpfe hergestellt werden. Zur Erzeugung der Knöpfe eignet sich jedes Drahtmaterial.
Der Vorteil der Erfindung besteht ausser dem erwähnten noch darin, dass die verbliebene Hälfte von durch Verlust unvollständig gewordenen Ösenknöpfen ungehindert weiterbenutzt werden kann.

The invention relates to a special embodiment of those known cufflinks in which two buttons are connected by a wire link movably attached to one of the same and consists in the fact that the wire link has the shape of an open bar that can be hung into the eye of the other head, the ends of which are freely bent towards one another form the second button.
The drawing shows several embodiments of the cufflink according to the invention.
Fig. 1 shows the button made of wire by bending in conjunction with a button provided with an eyelet, while Fig. 2 shows two wire buttons engaged with one another.

The advantage of the invention is, besides what has been mentioned, that the remaining half of the shank buttons that have become incomplete due to loss can continue to be used without hindrance.
