Während erstere starkes Erhitzen. zuweilen schmerzendes Anbrennen der betreffenden Hautstelle verursachen, lassen letztere bei niederhydratisierten Alkalisuperoxyden wenig, bei höheren Hydrationsstufen stärkere Temperaturerniedrigung empfinden.
Beim Einbringen der hydratisierten Alkalisuperoxyde bzw. der Gemische mit Zusätzen in Wasser, erfolgt im Gegensatz zu den anhydrisehen Alkalisuperoxyden bzw. deren Gemischen mit Zusätzen kein Entweichen unter Aufbrausen von Sauerstoffgas, vielmehr entwickelt sich Sauerstoffgas erst beim Erwärmen bzw. Kochen.
Infolge der wesentlich geringen Aktivität der hydratisierten Alkalisuperoxyde ist auch die Einwirkung von festen oder gelösten neutralisierenden, seifenbildenden, odorisierenden oder desodorisierenden
