  Aus einzelnen trichterförmigen Elementen bestehende Elektrode. 



   Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine mehrteilige Elektrode, die in Form einer Säule mittels einer Anzahl   leitende. Flächen   gebildet ist. Diese sind elektrisch miteinander verbunden und dabei so angeordnet, dass sie eine Reihe von Zellen bilden, welche die flüssigen oder gasförmigen Produkte der Elektrolyse zu einem gemeinsamen Behälter überleiten. 



   Die neue Elektrode ist in der Zeichnung in einem Ausführungsbeispiel veranschaulicht. 



   Auf einer leitenden Grundplatte G sind senkrecht stehende Tragstangen H angebracht, welche die ringförmigen Teile der Elemente D durchdringen, letztere besitzen die Form von Kegel-oder Pyramidenstumpfen oder haben auch flache oder gewellte Oberfläche. Das letzte Element ist an ein Sammelrohr C angeschlossen, das die Erzeugnisse der Elektrolyse aufnimmt. 



  Über dem Rande eines jeden dieser Elemente ist ein Ring E aus Isoliermaterial und zweckmässig in Form einer Glocke angebracht. Die zur Überdeckung des oberen Elementes dienende Glocke ist im Gegensatz zu den anderen, die oben offen sind, voll ausgebildet und bedeckt ausserdem vollkommen das Sammelrohr C. Die bei der Elektrolyse entstehenden Produkte, die sich in den Zellen zwischen den Elementen bilden, werden also nach der Mitte abgeleitet und infolgedessen zum Sammelrohr hingeführt, wobei die besondere Anordnung der Zellen unterstützt, durch das Vorhandensein der Isolierglocken, ein Entweichen der genannten Produkte ausserhalb der Elemente hintanhält. 



   PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE : i. Aus einzelnen trichterförmigen Elementen bestehende Elektrode, die das Erzeugnis der Elektrolyse einem gemeinsamen Sammelrohr zuleitet, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die trichterförmigen Elemente (D) aus leitenden Einzelflächen bestehen, die den einen Pol für die Elektrolyse bilden und durch leitende Tragstangen in elektrischer Verbindung stehen.

The last element is connected to a collecting pipe C which receives the products of the electrolysis.

The bell used to cover the upper element is, in contrast to the others, which are open at the top, fully formed and also completely covers the collecting tube C. The products produced during electrolysis, which are formed in the cells between the elements, are thus after diverted from the center and consequently led to the collecting pipe, the special arrangement of the cells supported by the presence of the insulating bells, preventing the named products from escaping outside the elements.
