Process for producing consistent fats.
Of the products obtained from the distillation of petroleum (gasoline, petroleum, heavy oils, lubricating oils, paraffin oils, and residues), most of the products used to date have been lubricating oils, praffin oils, and residues to produce consistent lubricating greases. The thickening of these oils

agents such as alumina, graphite u. Like. With the mineral oil. A disadvantage of these lubricating greases is that, due to their resinous and mineral admixtures, the machine parts resinify and encrust. In addition, they become thin at higher temperatures and foam due to their water content, which means that a lot of lubricating material is lost through dripping.
It has now been possible to produce a consistent fat from mineral oils, even the lightest with the lowest viscosity, without resin and without water content, by heating the mineral oils as such with small amounts of dried glue soaps, which thus contain the glycerine of their base lyes contain, or ordinary curd soaps, to which 5 to 10% of their weight glycerine has been added, are combined to form a clear solution, or that the lubricating greases are produced directly during the distillation when the oils are concentrated by adding the above-mentioned additives.
EMI1.2
If admixtures are still added to the still, the process is doubly economical as it saves time and heating material and a consistent fat can be obtained directly from the still.
PATENT CLAIMS: I. A process for producing a consistent fat from mineral oils and soaps, characterized in that either dried glue soaps or curd soaps, with 5 to 10% glycerine added to the mineral oil, are gradually added at temperatures above 1800 C.
