   Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine besondere Art der Verbindung des Ober- und Unter- bandes der bekannten, mit Löschpapiereinlage versehenen Stahllineale. 



   Man hat bisher zur Verbindung des Oberbandes a mit dem Unterbande    & Formnieten e     verwendet, die mittels eines Ziehens d mit dem Unterbande durch Nietung verbunden wurden, während das Oberband den eingedrehten Teilf umfing. An Stelle dieser Nieten werden erfindungs-   gemäss die an sich bekannten Doppelhohlnieten g,   h   verwendet, die, gegeneinander gedrückt, durch Keilwirkung festhalten.

   Diese Verbindung ist aber keine dauernd feste, da der   forts zahl   ende   Gebrauch des Lineals eine allmähliche Lockerung und schliesslich die gänzliche Lösung der beiden Nietenteile voneinander zur Folge hätte.   o Zur Vermeidung dieses Übelstandes wird, nachdem die Nieten bei ihrem Einsetzen in
