  Elektrisch geheiztes Aluminiumkochgeschirr.

  Electrically heated aluminum cookware.

The invention relates to an electrically heated aluminum cookware with a heating element attached to the floor. The practical impossibility of soldering aluminum and riveting it completely tightly and the consequent necessity of pressing or pulling aluminum dishes from sheet metal makes the production of such dishes, especially if they are also to accommodate electric radiators, very expensive, quite apart from that, that the production of faultless goods is by no means always successful. In the case of the aluminum tableware according to the invention, this deficiency is eliminated in that the heating element is cast as a core in the base of the tableware which forms a single casting.

In the drawing, FIG. 1 shows an aluminum tableware still in the casting mold in vertical section, FIG. Z shows a plan view. In the casting rooms enclosed by the two molded parts 1, 2, equipped with sprues and air holes in the usual way, the heating element 3 is inserted on the floor like a core and supported in the usual way, iron wires go from the connection points 4 of the heating wire or band in order to easily identify the position of these points in the finished crockery. The casting is done in the usual way; this gives a cast seamless crockery, in the bottom of which the radiator is cast on all sides.

Then the aluminum wall is perforated at the points indicated by the iron wires and a supply terminal is attached in an insulated manner in some suitable, known manner.

The radiator is thus completely tightly and immovably enclosed in the dishes, as a result of the intimate contact between it and the aluminum base, a good heat emission is ensured. In addition, the production of faultless dishes is very simple and cheap.

It is advisable to give the radiator some flexibility or elasticity by adding a little asbestos and mica to the clay and sand, which, as with all such radiators, form the main mass.
