   Die Vorrichtung besteht, wie aus Fig. i der Zeichnung ersichtlich ist, aus dem Gestell G und einem mit dem Gestell durch einen Bolzen drehbar verbundenen Handhebel H. An letzterem ist das auswechselbare Spaltmesser M mit zwei Schrauben befestigt. Das Gestell G besitzt mehrere stufenförmige Einschnitte und kann sowohl einteilig oder, wie aus der Draufsicht Fig. 2 ersichtlich, der besseren Stabilität halber, zweiteilig sein. 



   Erfindungsgemäss wird der obere Rand des Hebels H umgebördelt, wodurch der Hebel nicht nur seitlich versteift wird, sondern diese umgelegte Kante auch dem am Hebel befestigten Messer als Widerlager dient, so dass die   Messerbefestigungsschrauben   bei der Betätigung des Hebels vom Drucke gänzlich entlastet sind.
