Der Vorteil der Erfindung liegt darin, dass die Herstellung der Grabsteine und Monumente eine bedeutend ökonomischere gegenüber der aus Natursteinen ist ; auch sind die nach der Erfindung hergestellten Grabsteine bedeutend leichter, so dass auch die Aufstellung auf minder tragfähigem Grunde leicht möglich ist. Die Versteifung des Hohlraumes durch ein Holzgerüst kann in der verschiedensten Art erfolgen, am vorteilhaftesten wird sich. die Verwendung unbehauenen Holzes erweisen. 



  Das Gerüst dient naturgemäss bei Anwendung dünner Wandungen auch als Schalung.
