Description

Process for the production of structures made of concrete. The invention relates to a process for the production of concrete structures, such as window and door infas solutions, etc. columns, garden edging, etc. made of concrete. It is known to produce the building structure by pouring the concrete into solid forms. In these known methods, the molds were emptied before the cement was completely set. One of the disadvantageous consequences was that the structure developed cracks. Very often there are also subsequent changes in shape that make reworking necessary.

The purpose of the present invention is to remedy these and other known disadvantages of the known methods, and this is achieved in that the concrete is poured into a sand mold in a thin liquid.

When using suitable sand, which must be very fine, it can be achieved that the water that has escaped from the poured concrete is retained in the sand and is partly returned to the hardening cement, as far as water is necessary for setting.

The practical implementation is expedient in such a way that the object to be manufactured is formed in a bed made of very fine sand by means of a wooden or metal mold. The wood or The metal mold is removed and can be used for further molding. The concrete is then poured fairly thinly into the sand mold and left in it until the cement has completely set. Some of the water enters the sand immediately after it is poured. This stays moist and can give off water again while the cement hardens. If the sand mold is made carefully, subsequent reworking of the concrete body is no longer necessary.

This process can be used, for example, to produce shredded window frames from one piece. Reinforcement can also be introduced into the building by inserting the metal rods into the sand mold. It can be ete by attaching cores. also make recesses in the concrete body that are precisely tailored in size and arrangement.

The method also enables concrete bodies to be produced with any colored visible surfaces, and for this purpose it is advantageous to first pour a thin mixture of ground natural stones into the mold and only afterwards the concrete. The heavier concrete pushes the thin natural stone-cement mixture along the walls of the sand mold, so that the latter mixture forms the outer skin of the concrete body.

With this process you can make cheap window frames, door frames, door swellings, bars for garden frames, posts and posts. Hollow bodies can also be achieved. Since it is advantageous to leave the concrete body completely still in the mold until it has fully set, cracks etc. are avoided. Reworking the outer surfaces can be avoided. With a suitable choice of materials, the concrete bodies obtained have a fine grain on the surface.
