PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE : i.

Axle pressure carriage, in particular for road vehicles.
The subject of the invention is a transportable scales by means of which the weight of road vehicles in particular can be determined in a simple manner with great accuracy. The balance, which is made up in a known manner of two levers rotatably connected to one another with an interposed dynamometer, can according to the invention be adjusted to different heights on a stand column connected to a base plate.
The drawing represents the subject matter of the invention in one embodiment, namely it shows a view of the scales loaded by the axle of a vehicle with a longitudinal section through the support column, and above it a cross section through the support column along line A-B.
The balance essentially consists of the arm b adjustable on the column a, the lever d rotatably mounted on it by means of a cutter c and a dynamometer e arranged between the arm b and the lever d.
The arm b is provided with a nut thread, which is a screw spindle arranged in the interior of the column a. f encloses. The lever d loosely grips around the spindle f. In the wall of the column a slots g are made, in which the arm b and the lever d are guided. The column a is supported by a footplate h. The spindle is turned by a hand lever i.
The lever d carries a cutting edge k on its upper side, which is placed under the load to be weighed, in the present case the wheel hub of a road vehicle. By turning the spindle f, the balance is raised until the wheel acting on the lever d floats freely, which can be seen from the fact that the pointer of the dynamometer e stops moving.
The point at which the lever d engages the dynamometer can be relocated by the adjusting screw l. In this way, errors in the information on the dynamometer can be compensated for.
The screw spindle can also be set in rotation in a way other than by the lever i or replaced by another lifting device.
PATENT CLAIMS: i. Axle pressure carriage, in particular for road vehicles, with a dynamometer arranged between two rotatably connected levers, characterized in that the two levers forming the weighing mechanism are mounted adjustable to different heights on a column (a) connected to a base plate (ii).
