Elevator for ice and other materials.

The subject of the present invention is an elevator for ice and similar materials, which are placed or scooped into pockets that are attached to endless chains so that the required materials fall out of their own weight into a channel at the upper end of the device or are poured out will. A basic

Fall out right at the beginning or during the lifting, but are quickly transported further that they do not fall out under or next to the channel, and that the passage of the device is dense and safe and also permanent.

These conditions are met by the arrangement of a rotatable channel and the correct construction of the pockets of the retensioning lifting device.

On both sides of the upper drum of an even number of faces, non-circular disks with bulges are fixed, the number of which is equal to half the number of faces of the drum if a pocket is placed on every other face. Each bulge of the non-circular disk lifts the channel around its axis so that the pocket can pass under it and the lifted object can slide down safely on it. In front of the next pocket, the groove lowers around hers due to its own weight

It is preferably ice, therefore a fragile and slippery substance. With this in mind, the bottom of the bag is arched and the edge of the bag is higher on the chain than its free edge.

Screws 16 can be retightened. The nuts for these screws either form the cross pieces 15, while the nuts shown on them in the drawing only serve as lock nuts and the screw head rotates in the bearing 10 without these screws being able to get out of engagement, or it is under the cross piece J! 5 on the screws 16 a (not shown in the drawing) screw

Claims (1)

PATENT CLAIM: Elevator for ice and other materials, characterized by a medium non-circular disc (5) attached to the upper drum, rotatable about its axis (7), which, whenever a pocket (4) on the drum comes close to it After it has taken up its contents, it is lifted through the bulges of the non-circular disks so that the bag can now pass unhindered under it and the material dumped into the channel can slide down in it due to its own weight without piling up in it.
