    Verfahren und Apparat, um das Entweichen von Gas beim Schüren von Gaserzeugern zu verhüten.   



   Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Verfahren und ein Apparat, wodurch bei   Gaserzeugern   selbsttätig der Austritt der Gase während des   Schürens   durch entgegentretende Dampfströme verhindert wird, indem beim Öffnen dos   Schürlochdeckels   gleichzeitig ein Öffnen des   Dampfventiles   erfolgt. 



   An Stelle der bisher   üblichen Kugel   oder Kapsel zum Verschliessen des   Schürloches   wird über diesem jetzt ein auf der beiliegenden Zeichnung dargestellter Apparat fest angebracht. 



   Fig. 1 zeigt denselben im Schnitt und Fig. 2 im Grundriss mit fortgelassenem Deckel.
Dieser Apparat besteht aus'einem tellerförmigen Ansatz b, in dessen Inneren sich über der Schüröffnung a ein kreisförmig gebogenes Rohr c befindet, das mit der Dampfleitung 'in Verbindung steht. Auf dem   flantscbenartig   ausgebildeten oberen Rande des Ansatzes gleitet ein um einen Bolzen e drehbarer Deckel d derart, dass durch seine Verschiebung das Öffnen oder Schliessen der Dampfabsperrvorrichtung herbeigeführt wird. 



  Dieser Deckel wird vor dem Scharen durch den Gichter bei Seite geschoben und dadurch   selbstthätig der Eintritt   des Dampfes in das kreisförmig gebogene Rohr bewirkt, aus   welchem   der Dampf wieder durch kleine Öffnungen am inneren Umfange austritt, durch Überwindung des Gasdruckes das Entweichen des Gases verhindernd. Dieser Zustand hält während der ganzen Dauer des   Schürens   an. Nach beendetem Schüren wird durch Zurückschieben des Deckels das Schürloch geschlossen und im selben Momente der Dampf

   The subject matter of the present invention is a method and an apparatus whereby the gas generators automatically prevent the gases from escaping during poking by opposing steam flows by opening the steam valve at the same time when the poking hole cover is opened.



   Instead of the previously usual ball or capsule for closing the Schürhole, a device shown in the accompanying drawing is now firmly attached to it.



   Fig. 1 shows the same in section and Fig. 2 in plan with the cover omitted.
This apparatus consists of a plate-shaped attachment b, inside of which there is a circularly curved pipe c above the stoking opening a, which is connected to the steam line. A cover d rotatable about a bolt e slides on the flan-like upper edge of the extension in such a way that the opening or closing of the steam shut-off device is brought about by its displacement.



  This cover is pushed aside before the flocking through the funnel and this automatically causes the entry of the steam into the circularly curved tube, from which the steam exits again through small openings on the inner circumference, preventing the escape of the gas by overcoming the gas pressure.
