  Kühler für Verbrennungskraftmaschinen. 



   Die Erfindung betrifft Kühler für Verbrennungskraftmaschinen, bei denen das zu kühlende
Wasser durch Kanäle zwischen wagrechten, von Luft durchstrichenen Röhren geleitet wird. 



   Man hat schon vorgeschlagen, solche Kühler aus entsprechend aneinandergelegten Blechen aufzubauen. 



   Auch nach der Erfindung wird der Kühler in dieser Weise aufgebaut. Das Wesen der Erfindung besteht darin, dass die Wellenberge des einen Bleches in Nuten in den Wellentälern des anderen-Bleches eintreten. Bezweckt wird hierbei. dem Kühler eine grosse Widerstandsfähigkeit zu erteilen. 



   In der Zeichnung ist eine Vorderansicht eines Teiles eines Kühlers gemäss der Erfindung veranschaulicht. 



   Zwei   gewellte Bleche 1, 2,   bei denen die Wellenberge 3 schmäler sind als die Wellentäler 4, werden in bekannter Weise so aneinander gelegt, dass die Wellenberge des einen Bleches zwischen die Wellenberge des anderen eintreten, wodurch zwischen den Wellenbergen und den Böden der Wellentäler Kanäle 5 entstehen, durch welche die zur Kühlung dienende Luft hindurchstreicht. Diese, aus je zwei Blechen aufgebauten Gebilde werden nebeneinander in den Kühlerrahmen derart eingebaut, dass zwischen je zwei solcher Gebilde ein Wasserdurchflusskanal 6 entsteht. 



   Benachbarte Gebilde, die aus je zwei Blechen bestehen, werden gemäss der Erfindung durch Stege 7 voneinander getrennt gehalten und gegeneinander abgesteift. Diese Stege bestehen aus Blechstreifen, die hochkantig an einem der Blechgebilde befestigt, z. B. mit den Enden angelötet sind und Ansätze besitzen, die in die Wellenberge an den einander zugekehrten Seiten der Blechgebilde eintreten. 



   Nach der Erfindung laufen die Wellenberge spitz aus, während in den Boden der Wellentäler des einen Bleches jedes Paares Nuten 9 zur Aufnahme der Spitzen der Wellenberge des anderen Bleches des Paares vorgesehen sind. Dadurch wird das Zusammenstellen und Zusammenhalten der beiden Bleche jedes Paares wesentlich erleichtert.
