  Verfahren zur Herstellung von Holzbriketts und von in Brikettform gepressten Unterzündern. 



   Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung bildet ein   verfähren   zur Herstellung von Holzbriketts und von in Brikettform gepressten Unterzündern aus Forstabfällen und Pech, welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist. dass diese   Abfälle,     wie z.   B. Reiser. Nadeln und Fruchtzapfen, in zerkleinertem Zustande mit einem Gemenge von geruchlosem Hartpech, Natronsalpeter und Paraffin innig verrührt, hierauf in Formen gebracht und schliesslich bei gleichzeitiger   Erwärmung gepresst werden.   



   Die so erhaltenen Briketts haben holzähnliches Ausgehen und die Festigkeit einer mittelharten Holzgattung, jedoch eine wesentlich längere Brenndauer und Heizkraft als diese. 



  Infolge ihrer grossen Dichte nehmen sie bedeutend kleineres Volumen ein als die an Heizkraft gleichwertige   Hoizmenge   ; sie sind fast   unhygroskopisch, besitzen geringen Aschengehalt   und sehr niedrige Entzündungstemperatur. 



   Zur Abgrenzung des Schutzumianges soll bemerkt werden, dass durch da, D. R. P.   or. 74889   und das   Österr.   Patent Nr. 70024 schon Verfahren bekannt geworden sind, nach welchen derartige Heizkörper unter Verwendung von Forstabfällen mit Hilfe heissflüssigen Harzes hergestellt worden sind. Von diesen bekannten Verfahren unterscheidet sich das vorliegende dadurch, dass dem   Hartpech   auch Paraffin und Salpeter, also auch Stoffe beigemengt werden. welche nicht als Bindemittel geltend gemacht werden können.

   The subject matter of the present invention is a process for the production of wood briquettes and of lower igniters pressed in briquette form from forest waste and pitch, which is characterized. that this waste, such as B.    The briquettes obtained in this way have a wood-like appearance and the strength of a medium-hard type of wood, but a much longer burning time and heating power than this.



  As a result of their great density, they occupy a considerably smaller volume than the amount of wood equivalent in heating power; they are almost unshygroscopic, have a low ash content and a very low ignition temperature.

Claims

By adding paraffin and saltpeter, however, the heating power of the briquettes is significantly increased and the ignition temperature is reduced so much that no sub-ignition material has to be used to fire them up.
