Fig. i zeigt die Füllschraube im Längsschnitt, Fig. 2 in Ansicht.

Oil filling screw for all kinds of bearings.
The previous screw plugs for closing the filler opening in bearings of all types have the disadvantage that they have to be removed completely when the lubricant is refilled.
In the case of camps, the t'helstand is also added. that the same only in certain positions,

The so-called rotary oilers are probably already in use, but allow them once they are installed. only changes of position of the bearing. which may differ from each other by a maximum of 90.
The invention relates to an oil filler plug. which enables the lubricant to be refilled without having to completely unscrew or remove the closure means of the filling opening. what the latter here. when it comes to the lubrication of bearings, such a position is given in the bearing body. that one and the same camp without

to make it resilient and slotted and which has a sprue opening that is perpendicular or at an angle to the bolt axis, so that the filling screw only needs to be unscrewed until this sprue opening is exposed.
If the opening screw is used for bearings, the bearing housing has a filling opening, the axis of which is arranged parallel to the base plate of the bearing, so that in every position of the bearing, be it as a pillow block bearing. as a hanging pillow block or as a hanger, the filling screw enables the lubricant to be poured in.
The drawing illustrates such an oil filling screw on a pillow block bearing. Fig. I shows the filling screw in longitudinal section, Fig. 2 in view.
