Durch die Rechtsverschiebung des Sperrkörpers A wurde aber auch der Schieber C in der Querbohrung der Stange 2 nach rechts verschoben und hat den Sperrkörper B in die Aus. nehmung I der Stange 3 hineingedrängt, so dass auch diese durch den Sperrkörper B, der durch die Wandungen der Bohrung E an jeder Längsverschiebung gehindert ist, gesperrt wird. Durch die Längsverschiebung der Stange 1 wurden also die beiden anderen Stangen 2 und 3 selbsttätig verriegelt.
Wird aus der in Fig. 2 gezeigten Ausgangsstellung die Stange 2 aufwärts geschoben (Fig. 4), so werden die Sperrkörper X und B durch die Kei wirkung der Ausnehmungen G, H der Stange 2 von dieser weg in die Ausnehmungen F, I der Stangen 1 und 3 hineingedrängt, so dass nunmehr diese Stangen verriegelt sind. Durch eine Längsverschiebung der Stange 3 (Fig. 5) aus der Ausgangsstellung nach Fig. 2 werden in ähnlicher Weise, wie dies bei Fig. 3 erläutert worden ibt, durch Linksverschiebung der Sperrkörper B, A die Stangen 1 und 2 verriegelt.
Man sieht also, dass in einfachster Weise durch Längsverschiebung einer der drei Stangen die beiden anderen selbsttätig in sicherer Weise verriegelt werden. Selbstverständlich wäre es ohneweiters auch möglich, mehr als drei Stangen in derselben Art mit einer selbsttätigen Verriegelungseinrichtung zu versehen, indem nur die mittleren Stangen Querbohrungen zu erhalten brauchen, in welche Übertragungsschieber eingesetzt werden.
Wenn sich auch die Kugelform der Sperrkörper wegen der Verminderung der Reibung bei der Verstellung a vorteilhaft er- wiesen hat, so ist es doch klar, dass diese Sperrkörper auch anders gestaltet sein können, desgleichen auch die Ausnehmungen der Stangen, wenn die Gestaltung nur so beschaffen ist, dass bei Verschiebung einer Stange zwischen Ausnehmung und der zugehörigen Sperrkörper eine Keilwirkung entsteht, die die Verschiebung des Sperrkörpers in der Querrichtung herbeiführt.
